Sure, why not? It doesn't matter who votes, how many time they vote,or who they vote for! The only thing that matters is who is doing the counting. Your vote is meaningless unless it is counted! I have news for all of you ,your votes aren't being counted unless you voted for the ones they want! There are 17 year olds in the service why not let them vote as well! I was 17 when I entered the US ARMY!

The original voting age (in my lifetime) was 21. Then, with Viet Nam, it was changed to 18. The reason was, if they are old enough to fight for this country (USA), they should be allowed to vote.

While many younger than 18 can and do act more responsible than many over the age of 18, I firmly believe that (for the most part) they are still too young in experience. Heck, a lot of people well over 18 should not be allowed to vote (IMHO).

So, my answer would be no, sorry!

one million: the form says so. 2: It says so, because of the fact that's the age of majority, some could even argue that 18 isn't close to the right age for each and all the household projects positioned on one as quickly as the age of majority. 3:customarily the emotional adulthood of an 18 12 months old is questionable at terrific. There could be different standards met, such as you have got the means to verify and comprehend the U. S. shape with the intention to vote.

I am not even American and I am 13 and I know what a liberal is!!
A liberal is a annoying individual who will blame every miss happening in the world on a bunch of white guys with gray hair
and suites. A liberal is also a term used to describe an annoying individual who will blame the government on personal problems such as gas prices and a liberal is also an individual who will
pray to the lord that a U.S marine dies and they are also known
too use their freedom of speech to march down the street
in a marines funeral holding signs and screaming.Oh and as a awnser to your question minors should be allowed too vote.

WHY NOT most Adults just vote for a candidate because of their name, or they look nice, or have a donkey or Elephant logo on their signs. Heck A politician in NC changed his name to Andy Griffith. He will probably win too. I think an independent thinking 15 year old could vote better than a knuckle head 40 year old.

If they are actually contributing to the country (e.g. serving in the military, earning and income and paying taxes on the income, etc.) then I might consider it.

Children, including those over 18 that still act like children, should not be allowed to vote.

Absolutely not.

A 15 year old kid is not well educated enough, not informed enough, not mature enough to make decisions of great importance. Any kid that still has to have their mommy do their laundry and is influenced by things they see on MTV and thinks an IPOD is the most important thing in the world doesn't deserve a vote.

Though I can also think of a few million liberals that shouldn't be given that privelage either.

My reason for saying this is experience.
I believe that seventeen year olds should be able to vote.
I was in the military at seventeen.
As a result of being in at that time, I am a veteran of foriegn wars.
I could not vote, I could not buy cigarettes, I could not legally drink, but I was old enough to die for my country.
I was willing to do that, but I am glad it did not happen.

No. Even at age 18, they are hardly well enough informed or disciplined in their research to make well informed decisions.

I was particularly disgusted at our University when the teachers' slogan was 'Vote Your Feelings'.
