With people like Alex B PhD still having high, cherry pie, in-the-sky hopes, and considering the current state of our political climate, I would be majorly surprised if the Democrats didn't win a majority in at least the House.

The above answer is quite correct - both the house and the senate will go democrat by an edge but no were near enough to override a veto. That makes it a perfect election to follow
Pretty_Trini_Rican's advise and turn out all of the incumbents. Hold your nose and vote against anyone that is a current office holder. Vote hard for all third party candidates. That is the only was to signal that the people are not going to put up with business as usual. A high turn out and and anti incumbent vote will make a large wave in the body of politics.

I think the Democrats are going to win both houses but I can't tell the future any better than anyone else.

I can predict with more certainty that no matter who controls either house, their majority will be very thin.

The Democrats will win The House.

The Senate might end up split.

I hope it all goes Democrat though.

Get ALL the incumbents out!!! Politics is not a life long position. Let's get some fresh meat up on Capital Hill.

House - Republicans, because Democrats do not have a clear cut platform on any specific issue

Senate - Republicans, see above
