Isn't it funny that the party that campaigned on a platform of values has so many members with no real values at all?

I heard that he admitted to a Christian radio program that he did not even read "Prop 2", the proposed stem cell research amendment to the Missouri Constitution, so he wouldn't even have known what he was endorsing. Isn't that kind of shooting from the hip on a Constitutional Amendment?

This is a sincere question, so honest & sincere answers only please.

The Republican party & candidates say the economy is great & getting better because of their tax cuts & economic policies. Here's my question:

Has your income increased substantially in the last year or two? Has it decreased?

Has your employment situation improved significantly?

Are you significantly wealthier than you were a couple of years ago?

If not, then how is it better, at least for the average American? I know it's great for corporations & wealthy Americans with lots of stocks & bonds, etc. But I don't see any real improvement for most of us.

It seems to me that this good economy is an illusion. The huge deficit created by those tax cuts & excessive spending will have to be paid back by all of us & our children, and left to other Presidents and congresses to fix.

Do you agree that the economy is booming - FOR YOU - under President Bush's policies & the Repubican congress? Why or why not?

When it comes to the police having a code of silence the libs always oppose (so do I) but now they are using the same tactic regarding the election. Will this work for them or will they be shooting themselves in the foot? Can a party win an election by NOT telling people what they stand for or what ideas they have (if any)?

All these ads do is expose our kids to awful things - "Daddy, what's an affair? Whats a mistress????" Questions that stemmed from a politcal ad while we were watching football on sunday.

I believe these ads do nothing but show me what kind of scumbags are running the country.

Year after year, I see people scrambling to the polls to vote, but I can't help but wonder, who and what are we really voting for? I see commercials of candidates left and right spouting all these promises and putting down others. Then, when they get into office very little is done. Yet, everyone says exercise your right to vote. Well, I'm all about exercising rights, if it truly makes a difference. But, I can't help but feel that we have been spinning wheels for years now.

If you listen to the liberal pundits, they are going to take over the House of Representatives and the Senate. If you look at most of these races, they are too close to call. You would think with this great groundswell of anti Bush voters, these races wouldn't even be close. What gives?

On the one hand, I really do want to vote in November like I usually do....and I'd have to hustle to get it done today, but....

On the other....the polling place where I usually vote is in my apartment building, and lately a lot of my building is a total mess, too much so for it to get cleaned up and ready in time, and people aren't telling the folks who live here--like me--*where* the alternative polling location is.

So I may have to vote early so I *actually GET TO* vote.

But enough about me....what about you guys, anyone else voting early....?

I have seen way to many attack ads from candidates on both sides of the fence who are accusing the other of terrible things. Will those ads directly affect the way you vote this election?

I think a way that they could best convene their messages would be to focus on what they are FOR, versus what someone else is for. I would rather hear what they can offer to me as a citizen if elected into whatever position they are running for.

Some times those ads can get so down and dirty, misleading and innapropriate, that it reminds me of being back in school.

For me I would have to say anything that relates to children, healthcare and education are the main things that will be drawing me to the polls this upcoming election, but then again, those are always the reason why I go.

I know there are some controversial issues out there right now, such as the war, gay marriage, immigration, and such, but what really draws you into this election?
