I am a democrat because I believe we should have national health insurance, a higher minimum wage, unemployment insurance, help for the working poor, better health care for disabled and elderly people, free education for any college student with a 3.0 GPA or higher in high school. I believe we should give all students a free lunch in primary and secondary school (the school lunch programs spend the same, no matter if all students get a free lunch or not). I beieve in a flat tax (originally proposed by the dems in the early 30's).

Democrats were the first people to be against abortion, before it was an issue. How they got off track was the womens movement.
