He was probably just told the major details and felt he didnt really have to read it. He should have read it before making ads on it, however.

True most do not read these. The majority of senators never read the Patriot Act before they blindly signed it into law and started the steady erosion of our Constitutional rights.
So you heard from a Christian radio station that he never read it eh? Did you actually hear him say that in his own words or was it just reported that way? Please consider the source, which clearly has an agenda to stop stem cell research.
What I still can never understand is how the same people who oppose stem cell research because "it destroys a life" are the same ones that use fertility clinics to create dozens of embryos, most that ultimately get discarded, to create more soldiers to fight in wars to kill others, to show them that killing people is wrong. Seems a bit hypocritical to me.

Improbable rumor -- the proposition is not that long and consider the partisan source. Anyway, who really cares what Michael Fox does; he's just an actor with a bad disease who is trying to help others like himself. He's not a politician or a representative of a political party. And who even knows, or cares what his political philosophy is? Didn't he play a rude conservative for years and years on TV? Perhaps that's the way he really thinks, apart from this one issue.

He has been supporting candidates that support stem cell research for several years now. I doubt that the idea of the research has changed all that much.
Also, he has supported BOTH democrats AND republicans on this issue. Get the facts.

Why did he endorse Ben Cardin(D- MD) when he voted against stem cell research? Do you see the pattern? Both are democrats.

I like Michael and wish he would just stick to making movies!
But he is sick and needs a cure and a demoncrat probably convinced him stem cell research would be a cure for his disease, thus he wanted to get the ball rolling so to speak...
I am sure if he knew they were trying to use unborn babies to get the stem cells he would not have supported this!

Most politicians don't really read what they endorse/sign. You have to trust the people who do read them to give you a fair report on what it is about.

He's a Hollywood celeb. People should listen to him whether he has the facts or not.
Right?
After all, Hollywood celebs really do reflect American values, right?

As usual, the Dems use "victims" to do their dirty work, assuming no one would fire back, furthermore, that no one would ever even question the ad.
