For me I would have to say anything that relates to children, healthcare and education are the main things that will be drawing me to the polls this upcoming election, but then again, those are always the reason why I go.

I know there are some controversial issues out there right now, such as the war, gay marriage, immigration, and such, but what really draws you into this election?

Civic duty and responsibility works too- I vote because I have the right to. I also vote so if I have a gripe- I can complain because at least I voted. I feel if you dont vote, you cant complain when something doesnt go exactly the way you want it to go.

I say get out and vote. Get who will best represent you and your community, and will push the issues that are most important in your area.

I go to the polls because it is my right and my duty to vote. I take very seriously this duty as a citizen. It doesn't matter if it is an off-cycle school board seat or a millage or a presidential election - I'm there, I'm informed, and I vote.

I will be going because it is not only my civic duty, but a privilege. But if I had to pick an issue it would be immigration and the war. We need to get the illegals out ad stop new illegals from coming in ad we need to finish what we started and keep this country and other countries safe.

I am voting to try to restore a balance of power in Washington. During the last 6 years I have seen one party rule as hurting the U.S., I do not want to see this continue. I feel a system of checks and balance is good for the country as it allows for compromise, something that has been missing in American government for to long.

The issues for me are abortions and gay marriage... I still haven't decided which way to swing my vote about abortion, but I'm voting against the gay marriage amendment... how does it affect anyone else's marriage if gays can marry? It's time we move into the 21st century
