I've heard lots of people saying that Ohio may determine the next presidential election. Why Ohio?

Ohio is what's known as a swing state. It is almost equally divided between registered Republicans and Democrats. It can go either way. If some Democrats decide to vote Republican that could swing the vote in favor of the Republican party and if some Republicans vote Democrat it could swing in favor of the Democratic party. You just never know how it's gonna swing!

Because Ohio was the state that gave George W. Bush the electoral votes to be the president in 2004. Hopefully, Ohio will change it's tune in 2008 and give the Democrats the White House.
