I really feel I have a chance to change the way my area is run and make it better. But I need publicity and I need people to know who I am. Also, I'll get a quite flashy car if I get the post.

So you have all heard of Mark Foley in Florida. My question for you is why do you vote for scum like this into office. My favorite thing about Mark (how sick is this) is that he served as the chairman of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children. Now he gets caught making sexual advances towards underage boys. What a fraud. Why did you guys sit on this when you knew about months in advance, only to blow up in your face recently. The guy was warned about this back in 2005. Do you think this could possible hurt your chances of winning seats in other states?

Why is a democracy so great? Why should every citizen excercize their right to vote. What do we really accomplish through voting?

I find this question very troubling for these reasons, and wondered if someone can explain.

1) Why ask how breast cancer can be beaten, if not purely to promote herself to the voting public? The answer is very simple: resources bring results. If the US made curing cancer its number one priority, I believe it would cure it.

2) What use will Hillary's aides put the answers to? Sure, someone will read through them all, but to what ends? Will consensus opinion from the Yahoo Answers community shape her politics? What is the point?

The state of Georgia is trying to pass a law requiring voters to show a phot ID at the polls. The blacks and Democrats claim it is a poll tax, then the IDs were offered for free. They are still against this seemingly logical requirement to vote. If I need a ID to buy beer or cigarettes should i assume these people are teetotallers(usualy the Republican role) or cheaters. Last time I checked you also needed an ID to drive or cash a welfare or social security check. What is unconstitutional about requiring an ID to vote. Surely voting is more important than beer or cigarettes?

Today, in northern California, a well known politician was appearing at two fund-raisers for local politicos. When he showed up at the first rally there was a crowd with signs cheering. He went inside, and these people were loaded onto buses and taken to the second rally, where they did the same. The politician went inside, and the crowd got back on the buses and weny back to the airport to cheer a third time, and get paid. This how it's done today?

Major corporations are bailing out of their retirements and piling them on the PBGC (Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation). Example: United Airrlines mechanics retired and the Company went into Bankruptcy and dumped the retirement. Mechanics retirements were cut up to 750.00 per month. How will Republicans defend the average working American from such abuses which are now becoming more vogue kin the corporate mindset.
