Wow, now that is one heck of a good question- It seems that the live boy tends to be the most likely answer- if history is any indicator, as other politicians have made it past having a girl friend show up dead. .

A live boy of course. Look at the Senior Senator from Massachusetts he has had a lively political career in spite of a dead girl.

Off hand. I can think of one dead girl in the past of a certain Democratic Senator and that fact hasn't hindered his political career one bit.
