entitities? Of course some folks running for office would have more cash then others due to personal wealth and campaign donations but that would be offset by public funds making the playing field level. I know that campain advertisements don't sway most of the intellects on here, but there are some dummies out there.....

In 2000 I think McCain would've made a much better Republican candidate and I'm still trying to figure out why the Democrats went with Kerry in 2004. What really goes on behind the scenes?

The Mark Foley scandal has pushed this election to a tipping point. This weekend, we have a chance to push it over the top and strike a major blow against the worst kind of politics.Tom Reynolds, a central figure in the scandal, is one of the most powerful and malicious politicians in Washington. Reynolds recently devoted nearly the entire Republican Congressional Committee budget—$50 million dollars—to nasty, personal attacks against Democratic candidates. But Reynolds has a problem: this week, it was revealed that he knew about Mark Foley's scandalous emails, buried them, and did nothing to intervene. Folks in his district aren't happy that he covered his own butt instead of protecting kids—and polls show that all of a sudden, his race is neck and neck. That means we've got a chance to defeat the country's greatest advocate for trash politics on his own turf. Can we fight the worst of politics with the best of politics? Can reaching out to the voters who might not vote help?.. Y/N

where is it in stone, that crazy polititions must rule this country and our lifes? what is the problem with a national vote on things and a small staff to make sure all is fair to the nation, make all who can work get out and work, stop the free checks to free loaders, their are so many in government its like a small country of people working in the gov, down size clean up the trash, and move on to a clear minded group leading us where we need to be , at home fixing our troubles let other countrys handle their own problems, while we rebuild our country , fix our school systems, and fix the reasons we all get sick ,it's not just making more pills to repair the damage we do day by day , what we are eating is the problem, be open and be nice please, do you want a change like never before in the history of the U.S leadership, and no i don't need millions of dollars to run, its up to you and good changes would start the first month,i would fire the bad eggs the first day in,shock you i would.

Is it legal to take down a political yard sign in my own yard before the election? I have changed my mind about who I want to vote for and only want their sign up. This is for a local election not presidential or anything that big.

According to a new 50-state report on child care policies just released by the National Women's Law Center, the Bush administration has successful dismantled government services for children. State funds for child care assistance have fallen for the fifth year in a row. The problem will soon become catastrophic. One person wrote: "Instead of subsidizing health and decency the Administration is subsidizing death, destruction, corruption and decay." Shouldn't US children be a priority?
