Elections - October 2006

I just learned that here in Ohio we are trying to pass a no-smoking law, yet not one lousy polotician or lobbyist group has said anything about the fact that it isn't against the law for sexual offenders to obtain jobs where they have access to children. I may not be a political science major but don't you think that it would benefit the state and it's citizens more if you forgot about whether I smoke a cigarette after a good meal and worry about the damn pedofile who may be working as your childs crossing guard? God sometimes the ignorance of it all makes me sick. Vote for me for state senate this year and I will use common sense and common decency to determine my political stance on matters and not wether some idiot went out of his way to gather signatures just cause they don't like smoking and worry about REAL issues. Why , as Americans, do we allow our lives to be dictated by the few. Isn't it Majority rules? Yet most issues are never brought before the majority. Ironic eh?

QUOTE "The rumors about another top GOP member of the House being involved in sexual encounters with young "men for hire" are confirmed to WMR by well-placed sources in Washington's gay community. The member in question is House Speaker Dennis Hastert, whose "alternate" life style is the primary reason for him and his staff covering up the scandal involving ex-Florida GOP Rep. Mark Foley and his lewd messages sent to underage male congressional pages. Hastert's penchant to receive anal sex is well-known to our sources in DC's gay community.

"The GOP and neo-con spin machines are trying to tamp down the scandal for one major reason. If the scandal continues to grow, what has been described by Hill sources as a secretive GOP "homoerotic network" in Washington, DC will be exposed"

Will Apologists for the GOP keep up the self-righteous name-calling after this comes out and admit they've been fooled?

I feel that you should know what you are voting on, do the research. I think an uneducated vote is a wasted vote. You do not have to vote on every issue here in California, so why do people vote on stuff they kow nothing about? What do you think?

ANYONE WHO HAS READ AN ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM UNDERSTANDS HOW THE REPUBCLICAN PARTY MANIPULATED THE NUMBER OF THE BAD POLICIES THAT ARE CURRENLY IN EFFECT.
I HOPE THAT THERE IS A GROUP THAT HAS TAKEN THIS SCIENCE OF FRAMEING AN AGENDA OR ISSUE BY USEING IT FOR WHAT IS TRUELY IMPORTANT (THE TRUTH) THE PURPOSE OF TRUE COMMUNACATION BETWEEN THE LEADERS OF OUR NATION AND IT'S CITIZENS MUST BE THE TRUTH NOT AN AGENDA!!
IF YOU HAVE YET TO READ THIS SMALL PAPERBACK BOOK "AN ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM" I HONESTLY BELIEVE EVERY AMERICAN NEEDS TO READ IT. TO SAY IT IS AN EYE OPENER IS AN UNDERSTATMENT. I AM SORRY FOR THE BAD GRAMMER AND MIS-SPELLED WORDS MAYBE WE WILL CONVINCE YAHOO TO ADD A SPELL CHEAK TO THIS PORTION OF ANSWERS.

Published: October 7, 2006
WASHINGTON, Oct. 6 — The White House, caught off guard by a leading Republican senator who said the situation in Iraq was “drifting sideways,” responded cautiously on Friday, with a spokeswoman for President Bush stopping short of saying outright that Mr. Bush disagreed with the assessment.

“I don’t believe that the president thinks that way,” Dana Perino, the deputy White House press secretary, said when asked whether the president agreed with the senator, John Warner of Virginia. “I think that he believes that while it is tough going in Iraq, that slow progress is being made.”

It doesn't elect the president. So why do we waste our time when our votes can't even make a difference in the presidential candidates we vote in.

The republicans are screaming "don't elect the Democrats because, if you do, they will just start investigating everybody!!" Ummm...does anybody think this hairbrained ploy will work? Would it not have been better had Bush et al had not tortured, manipulated intelligence, lied their way into a war, etc. Isn't that kinda like saying there shouldn't be traffic lights because, if there are, then people might go through the reds? An interesting dilema, if you have the intelligence of a yam, potato, or some other kind of tuber, in my opinion. But is the public dumb enough too fall for it?

Take the fraud out of King County Elections!
King County has gotten to be a county where voter fraud is not only possible it is a reality! There are 238 people listed on the voter rolls for the county of people who are mailing in more than one ballot and not only is this illegal it is just plain wrong because it is tactics like this that is the cause of us having the administration that has sent so many of your young men and woman to die on foreign soil, It is why the gay community can not get equal rights and it is why the true voice of King county and many other parts of this nation are not heard because of people who do not care what everyone wants and will do what it takes to force their ideas on us! Here is the proof I offer to back up my claims and I want to know how to see to it that this fixed once and for all?

Thank you
