well it as I remember, school seemed to be a popularity contest, even when it came to council election. My suggestion would be to spread the word that you are running, and talk to someone out of every click, or as many people as possible. Put up flyers(i know its so cliche but advertising has proved it to work). Let your good personality traits shine whenever you talk to people at school. People like to vote for likeable people. Try really hard to stay away from drama or getting on anyones bad sides for the time being. That has an effect on what people will think when they see or hear your name.....for example: What do you think when you hear Bill Clinton?
I don't know about you but I think about monica lewinsky. It just stuck for some reason.

choose a song that everyone knows, use the tune for a speech. make it catchy! Make your posters BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL, so that everyone will fall in love. Can you do buttons or stuff like that? Make buisness cards! Trust me, I'm running right now, and i was on student council last year in my school. Follow my lead and one more tip: be yourself!

Well, you could do it like they do in Washington. Tell everyone what they want to hear so you get elected and then just go ahead and do whatever you want once your in power. lol. Or you could be different (what a novel concept) and be honest, intellegent, and follow through on your campaign promises. I would vote for the second. LOL

well for one prepare a good speech; put up posters; tell classmates the things u can do to help the class/school; dont speak badly about your opponent [that will only bring trouble] just tell the audience the best of your intentions

make friends with everybody.....another thing check out clubs and see what they are in need of and focus on winning them over......and also.....no lying, name calling or being two faced.....good luck
