I am a registed Democrat but am starting to get really disallusioned by all the party's liberalism. However, I am not willling to go completely to the other side and be a Republican. I would like to register as an Independant. How do i go about doing this.

If it helps or matter in the answer - I am a resident of Pennsylvania.

Change your party affiliation with the board of elections in your town. Write down all of your ideas, check dates of town meeting and then start going. Because citizens are overloaded with their own lives, nobody goes to those meetings so the officials for years sit there by themselves and steal and scam any way they want. (Go check it out, they'll blink at you like you're a ghost) Type up your ideas, pass them around. Double dare you to go and bring friends. It's time.

At least you are seeing the light!! You should come over to the right!!

However, I think that when you get out to vote this November you can change your party affiliation then. It doesn't matter really how you are registered you can still vote for anyone you like.

I know in California the DMV has voter registration forms, you can fill one out and make sure you mark the section that is re-registering. Otherwise contact your county registrar's office and ask them the correct procedure for re-registering to vote under a different party.

Go to your local clerk of court building and look for the voters registration office. They are usually in the town hall.
