Last night during the Texas gubernatorial debate, Independent candidate Kinky Friedman claimed the internet was the work of satan. I'd like all the Kinky supporters out there to weigh in and explain this.

im not a supporter he meant he probley wants to make it illegall but what about it for educational uses hows that gona help i wish i was old enogh to vote id right on the ballot who in the world has a name lik e kinky and wants to become a governor hes a back woods weirdo and i liv out in the country but come on this guy is freaky kinky frinky haha its a joke 2 him this hole deal has always been vote for rick perry at least we now a little bit about him and he isnt like all other that are constatly changing there mind but i still wish i could vote i hear kinky freedmen it just makes me laghf

He says that about the Internet a lot. It's his way of saying he doesn't personally like it. He's probably used to the conversation going something like...

"I don't like the Internet."

"How can you NOT like the Internet?!"

So instead of being logical about it, he just says something that he thinks is funny and deflects the conversation entirely.

He obviously doesn't really mean it literally, because his campaign has a website:
