Man!!! All these answers so far are great.... with the possible exception of 'Club U'. Amazing that a right thinking, seemingly inteligent person could think the way you do. But this is America and you can think whatever you like.

To answer the question, republicans are historically on the side of big business. That's the way it is.

The real question here, as I think it is in so many cases is, what are we, as American citizens going to ever do about it? Discussiong on Yahoo Answers is great and very stimulating but it doesn't even begin to fix the problem.

The same reason they can lure -M- workers into this country and side step all labor laws,company's win big time,the power pushes the direction and corporate America lets the immigration service clean the mess up with a thing called DEPORTATION, no strings or back pay and no unemployment payments, now if it where you or i doing this, well you get it.
