It is 50/50. I am a Democrat and I do not sway toward many conservative ways.

Traditionally, minority groups have voted Democratic and I don't think which ethnic group made the difference. Traditionally, democratic party leaders and politicians believe and practice the governmental programs of assistance, like food stamps and supplements for low income families, so they tend to draw the minority vote.

Of late, with Hispanics being a part of the Bush family and Jeb's son being bilingual, I think many Hispanics have been drawn to the GOP.

An earlier responder said that the GOP wanted more government. The opposite is the case. The GOP wants less government and more independent and grass root solutions to society's problems. Their generally support lower taxes and a restructuring of our system of taxation, ie, the IRS.

In Mexico the Right Wing ( Catholics- Old Cons) are different than the right wing in the USA ( Protestants-Neo cons).
Mexico is more conservative and Mexicans keep more Family values. I an not a liberal, neither a conservative, I take of each party what my freedom of choice and freedom of decision tell me.
However i support Democracy and The Democrats!

As a American Mexican I support Family Values. I don't see Democrats as holding those, because of their support of gay marriage, NAMBLA, and other organizations.

I don't see how you can see that they are more conservative. Unless you saw them attempting to spin themselves as being more conservative. Remember what happen to Bill Clinton and the Republican outrage, and how they were outraged. Now it is Foley and look at how outraged they are over his conduct. They have been consistent. I heard Rush, Hannity share his disgust for his conduct.

However, the timing of the release of this information is definitely suspect.

You can't support Democrats AND family values. Democrats believe the word conservative is an insult.

I think it's split 50/50
I think Rebuplicans seem to be in favor of more government, which is not a traditional conservative stance. HBO has been running a movie called Mr Conservative about Berry Goldwater, you should check it out
