Would Bush veto any tax increase? Would a Republican Senate stop any tax increase legislation from a Dem controlled House?

Are you going to vote and, if so, are you voting FOR a candidate or AGAINST a candidate? Do you feel like you are choosing the lesser of two evils, or are you excited about who you're voting for?

Take for example, the Clinton trial....
Never before have a group of people been so adamant about finding out what someone has done in the bedroom and demanded such rigorous honesty.

Now, take a look at Charlie Crist, he is the 3rd "closeted gay" Republican to be outed down in Florida and they don't want to pursue it because it would cause him to lose the election for Governor this November.

What are your thoughts?

I can remember ad campaigns when I was a kid. Every now and again, someone would sling some mud, but they were mostly about what that person planned to do while in office, or whatever they were running for. Now, the only thing I ever hear is "this person did that" or "that person didn't do that".....it sounds like my 3 and 6 year old fighting. It really makes me not want to vote at all!!

Never voted before (I know, that's horrible). I've recently decided that I have no right to complain about the government, if I don't put my two cents in. So...when is it too late to register to vote in California? (Not sure if it matters what state I am from).

You've got to vote for him if you got the chance! He's probably the only young candidate (besides Edwards) who would appeal to all Americans and bring the country back to respectablitity.

He stated that she had to have had "millions of dollars" in plastic surgery and had no idea why Bill married her. Are these the rantings of a moron who knows he's about to be spanked in the election, or do they have a proper place in politics?

I think women would prefer a man be president and be more likely to vote against Hillary. And I think most men would be opposed to a woman president in general which would cost her a lot of votes.

Here in Australia we have to exercise our democratic freedoms, or else. Is this a good thing or not?

I have seen questions here on YahooAnswers telling/asking people who think a certain way not to vote on election day. This seems really prejudiced to me - like some people think that only those who agree with them should be able to participate in our government, when in reality that goes directly against the principles our country was founded on. Can anyone explain this attitude to me? Polite and serious answers only, please.

With the Democrats and Republicans continuing this fighting, back biting, slandering, playing one-up-manship, vengence it seems like a bitter national divorce fighting over custody of the general public: Two parties forgetting their responsibility toward us, forcing us to take sides against each other.

It is a lose, lose situation. If the Dems win we have to accept whatever they force on us and the same holds true for the Republicans.

They have pitted us against each other for their own advantage and we have blindly allowed it to happen. No matter what happens 50% of the population will be punished and coddled again right before the elections.

If this is not changed at the grass roots we will fail at all our endeavors.

Alas, we have driven all the true statesmans away.

Kinda like Humpty Dumpty.

Everyone is now in agreement that Democracts will retake control of congress in light of the President's disastorous and murderous foreign and domestic policies.

The only question now is, should any republicans be left in office or should they all be thrown out to slap bush in the face?

It now appears that most, if not all, republicans are criminals, having received money from Jack Abarnoff, covered up the Foley sex scandal, and helped Duke Cunnigham get paid off by defense contractors to vote for the war.

In light of their idiotic policies and criminal behavior, is there any reason why ANY republican should be left in office this November?
