If those were the only two choices, who would you choose to be the next president of the US? That's the first question. The second is, never mind who you'd vote for, who do you think would actually WIN?

Why is our Country in so much trouble?

Just take a look at the hateful questions and answers on this site. How can anyone work with such crude people who only know how to hate, ridicule, and assasinate the character of those trying to fix things.

What do our politicians teach your children when it is o.k. to slander others, lie about others, stir up trouble for others. What are you teaching your children. Are these things making a better or worse world for them

We complain about the violence in society today and yet our vehement vengence is propagating it.

The democrats and the left-wing media's attempt to influence both voter turn-out and the results of the upcoming mid-term seems to me to be overkill. They have even resorted to calling Republicans "amoral" after this Foley fiasco. They consistently talk up the bad news out of Iraq and talk down the nations strong economy. Will it work?

Just because a war is not going the way you want is no reason to retreat... unless you happen to be French or a Liberal.

Sceduled to start tomorrow, 21 Oct. on national news networks the commercial stars Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenant, Ayman al-Zawahiri while their mouths move you will hear a clock ticking in the background.

Printed quotes from the last several years will display with parts of them lingering on the screen. Pretty scary!

Then there will be some footage of terrorists training (which was obtained with your tax dollars). Then the ticking clock becomes a heart beating. The only voice-over will be the Republican National Committee admitting blame for the ad.

So I'm pretty excited to see this one, how about you? Nice that Osama agreed to do a commercial for George, isn't it? And here I've been hating the twerp.

Why should the strong, hard working be required to drag the weak along with us? Doesn't it ultimately weaken the society as a whole?

Lots of friends of mine register as Libertarians or Independents and such... What is the point of that? Can anyone give me a good reason to do so?

PS - I'm a democrat and I research candidates and props before all elections, just so you know.

What happened to the American people on election day 2004?
Why did the American people get fooled into voting for George Bush? What has to be fixed that a man like Bush could never again be elected or appointed President? I suggest that America needs a better education system.

How do you think about legalizing Marihuana? Now it is still illegal and people who buy and sell this stuff are criminals. Of course such people want to get this legally and don’t want to go to prison. I am really disappointed, that there is a voting question for legalizing Marihuana. The advertising is extremely slimy. They say, that if Marihuana is legal, it is good for everybody. They say that the police will have less work. They say Las Vegas is the best place for Marihuana. I think we have enough problems with drunken drivers who kill innocent people. It’s also their fault that we all have to pay thousands of dollars for car insurance. Smoking in the public is also extremely annoying. There are enough problems and crimes in Nevada. Don’t lure more assholes and idiots here.

Questions based on number of Majority seats after election. So if I was right, on the best case the Dem's would control the Senate by 2 Seats and in the House the Dem's would have 16 more seats than the Republicans.
Best case perdiction is 8 Senate Seats lost by Republicans and 31 House Seats lost by Republicans that they control now.
Worst case perdiction is 6 Senate Seats and 18 House Seats that they control now.
What is your perdictions? Poll will stay open as long as votes come in on a daily bases. Thanks.

In the government class I am taking we are having "presidential elections" that are suppose to be like we are running for the President of the United States. I was nominated for one of those people. I have some problems down already like gas prices, illegal immigrants, and healthcare. The problem is I am a little short so I need some ideas on another major problem in America. If you have any ideas that would be great. (make sure to tell me why you said that thanks)

The Supreme Court vacated the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals today on the Arizona Voter ID Law (Proposition 200, voted on and approved by Arizona voters in 2004). The 9th Circuit had recently enjoined the law without allowing for a finding of fact by the District Court, which is kind of necessary in these cases.

So Arizona's law stands for this election (and probably will stand). The Supreme Court decision noted that the Arizona law does not necessarily result in the turning away of qualified and registered voters because if a voter shows up at a polling place without identification, he or she has five business days to return to a pre-identified site to show proper ID.
