Bush mobilized his electorate and the Religious Right and excluded the rest of the country, ie. me, and their interests. plus seeing as how Most of the American public knows nothing about foreign policy, seeing as how they aren't experts on the subject, they trust Bush to carry through with the Iraq war because of his equating it with Terrorism from day 1 of the invasion. the American public saw him as being better with dealing with the war than someone else entering office.
But I voted for Kerry damnit!

We, unfortunatally, have a 2 party system. When both parties put up candidates that are P.O.S., then you have to vote for the smaller pile. Neither party has put up a decent candidate since I have been voting. It is always for the lessor of 2 evils. Just for once I would love to see a decent candidate run. We tend to vote for those that we believe would best represent our interests. The Dems fell out of touch and this gave the election to the Reps. If you believe that the office of President is easy, just look at each of the Presidents when they entered office and then look at them after 4 years. They age 10 years as a result. I don't envy any of them that job. Bush has been no exception, not all of his decisions have been wise, but he has done some good. The American With Disabillities Act will again have some teeth in it-the courts killed most of what was there before. As a caretaker President, Bush would have been fine, but not as a President for a crisis or a war. I just hope that in 2008 the Reps and Dems get off their collective arses and give us a good viable candidate and not one that is pretty or politically correct, but a real leader. Otherwise the Libertarians will again get my vote.

The minimum results of the Dubya Years is the area software gets scaled lower back by way of seventy 5%. the foremost legacy often is the national Debt that went Offshore to Asia. That debt demands fee and for this reason removes many judgements pertaining to to usa's direction from the american people for an prolonged, long term to return.

Your anger is understood. As you are aware not all Americans voted for the current President...and not all were fooled. Unfortunately, many now realize the demise. And yes our education could use a boost. However, our current situation is not exclusive to the Americans, many other countries need better leadership and education. Luckily our education system is still one the best in the world....now we just need to work on the leadership here and with our allies.

True enough that the public school system sucks. However, the fault isn't with the American people. It's with the douche-nozzle the Democratic party decided to nominate. In their attempt to nominate the guy with the best chance to beat President Bush, they probably nominated the one guy who didn't have a chance. They could have nominated someone that could've made the election about social security, healthcare reform, the budget, etc. But no, they wanted to beat him on the War on Terror and that just wasn't going to happen.
When given the choice between the two, I had to decide that President Bush was the lesser of the two evils and saw absolutely no reason to vote for Kerry.

What happened was the votes were cast by Americans who expressed their opinions based upon the information available to us at the time. No one has a crystal ball and no one can predict ahead of time how any president will act once they are actually in office. Fortunately in our country we are free to make mistakes. We also learn from those mistakes and we continually strive to be the best that we can be. We also believe that anyone who doesn't want to be here and be part of the USA is free to stay away or go away and take their stupid opinions with them.

It should have been somewhat of a hint when Bush got 6000 votes in a precinct with 600 voters.
Ever wondered why most politicians are against education for the masses?

That's the eternal question regarding the U.S. I thought it was bad enough the first time, but second? Woah. Hold on here.
I think it was a mix of ballot counting mistakes and just being more content with a familiar face. Also, if some criminal activity was going on at a few voting stations, who's got the energy to find out and do something about it?
