Sceduled to start tomorrow, 21 Oct. on national news networks the commercial stars Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenant, Ayman al-Zawahiri while their mouths move you will hear a clock ticking in the background.

Printed quotes from the last several years will display with parts of them lingering on the screen. Pretty scary!

Then there will be some footage of terrorists training (which was obtained with your tax dollars). Then the ticking clock becomes a heart beating. The only voice-over will be the Republican National Committee admitting blame for the ad.

So I'm pretty excited to see this one, how about you? Nice that Osama agreed to do a commercial for George, isn't it? And here I've been hating the twerp.

Man, is this typical repuke or what. No facts, no issues, just scare tactics. Makes me want to vote democratic even more.

The aim of commercials like this is to deflect any discussion of real issues and put politics of fear at the forefront. But this one may backfire as people realize the Bush invasion of Iraq helped OBL escape from his rat hole in Afghanistan.
"Where's the beef?" seems to fit this ad. There is part of a cow, but the kind you find in squishy piles in the pasture.

Our corrupt government's fear-mongering propaganda continues...and the sensationalist corporate media enables them by airing their crap. *Sigh* $hit like this is part of the reason why I don't watch much TV and am registered Independent.

that's a horrible campaign. I love how the GOP claims they don't use scare tactics. How pathetic.
