Hydrogen cell is a very big contender as alternative fuel or energy source. High energy demand and price would compel the automobile industry to change their flow sheet soon, similarly energy promoters would cease to invest in large hydropower projects due to availability of cheap energy from hydrogen cell. Can we say that large hydropower projects and proposals have bleak future in coming years and we should go for smaller hydropower projects which can be completed in 5-6 years and also have small physical and financial layouts. Small hydropower projects can be planned on Total Integrated micro watershed basis to have least or Zero adverse impact on environment as well as settlements & existing infra-structure. By the time hydrogen cell and other alternative energy sources replace thermal & hydropower mix energy, the small hydropower projects can supplement the energy demand in shortest possible time frame.

Paal McGoogle a prominant behind the scenes Democrat is urging all eligible voters to reregister as a Republican. Don't know the reason but I can take a few guesses. One would be to embarrass the Republican party in the event they lose the 2008 elections with a huge advantage in voter registrations. What is your opinion on this? If you are a Democrat are you going to reregister as a Republican?

I am so excited to finally receive my questionnaire for jury duty! I know everyone hates it, but not me! I am truly excited and can't wait. How can I make sure I get picked to be on the jury? What should I not say (besides the obvious)? What makes a good juror?

am writing to you to see if you can put me in touch/get me help from a goverment agency who will sort out the problem I've outlined for you below.

My favourite walk is along a public road and there is an old oak tree growing in the hedge by the roadside; not in the field itself. The field is seperated from the oak tree by a ditch or drain. In the past year several rotten branches have appeared and i'm concerned that if the rot is not checked it will eventually kill this fine oak tree. On the positive side new leaves have appeared this spring so all is not lost yet. I want to know who/what can help me to save this tree. it's one of just a few left in the area. Incidentally I live in the Cookstown area.

I recently got a letter in the mail stating that I had to attend jury duty. Unfortunately, I was very busy being a full-time student and forgot about jury duty? Am I going to be in tons of trouble? If so, what are the consequences? Is there anyway to get myself out of this mess?

Ideas without action are worthless. Hi, for those of you who don’t know me, my name is Brittney Durant. When I first came to this school as a freshman, I thought that this school was filled with so much school spirit. From girls with matching T-shirts and ribbons, to some seniors dying their hair blue, just for that day. It was to the point where if you didn’t dress up, or didn’t wear you class colors you didn’t really fit in. In my past three years at West High, I feel that students at our school have less and less school spirit and just get plain tired and bored at rallies. Instead of getting up and yelling out our classes, we would much rather stay seated, sit back and watch. I personally believe it is due to the fact that our rallies are the same every year. Alhough the freshmen may be excited about our rallies, I’m sure that most of you agree with me that our class competitions are just like they were last year and the year before. I think that students would be more into our rallies and filled with more school spirit if we had something new to look forward to every rally. As your next secretary of Activities, I am willing to work with the Secretary of Spirit to provide our school with better rallies, dances, and activities. I, personally, think that it is time for a change at West High. Rallies at our school have been said to be “all right”, “boring”, or the same “every year”. As your new secretary of Activities, I’ll do my best to make sure that you, the students of West High, have an unforgettable year next year with more exciting rallies and newer and better songs at our school dances. With the new secretary of spirit I will combine creativity with discipline to provide West High with more organized rallies next year. I’ll try my best to have newer class competitions, such as dance offs, and perhaps teacher versus students relays. I, Brittney Durant, promise to listen to each student's concerns and ideas for future activities and I think that it would be a great idea to get the students’ opinions about what our future activities should be.
