am writing to you to see if you can put me in touch/get me help from a goverment agency who will sort out the problem I've outlined for you below.

My favourite walk is along a public road and there is an old oak tree growing in the hedge by the roadside; not in the field itself. The field is seperated from the oak tree by a ditch or drain. In the past year several rotten branches have appeared and i'm concerned that if the rot is not checked it will eventually kill this fine oak tree. On the positive side new leaves have appeared this spring so all is not lost yet. I want to know who/what can help me to save this tree. it's one of just a few left in the area. Incidentally I live in the Cookstown area.

You should call your Mayor and local Environmental Protection Agency. I would also think you will have to get a local petition going or some kind of fund raiser. Your EPA should tell you what you need to do for free and your Mayor may pay for it but the Town, County budget may require a bake sale.

I thought you were referring to the story of the Oak tree the little boy cut to pieces and the stupid tree just forgave him.

Call a local nursery or tree trimming service and see if you can't get some gratis work. Start calling city hall and you will get passed around until you get someone that will not help you. Then call your commissioner or mayor or anyone until you get someone that will help or give you some good ideas.

provide it one very last shot. purchase Bayer tree protection. The Bayer chemical employer makes quite a few products that contain both insecticide and fungicide. One or both products would help look after your tree from further invasion contained in the wounded section even as the tree works on therapeutic itself

"Tie up a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree"
The old oak tree is not a tree.
It's the dirty old men who must put on a yellow ribbon to expose it to our creator that he is coming home soon for making a mess in planet of apes.
Leviticus 26-41
It is something similar to Poppy flower in honouring the dead with their Liberation of Freedom back in the past in planet of apes.
Must solve the mess on what went wrong out there for the good of mankind in the creation of peace on earth good will to men in planet of apes.
Luke 2.32
Then put on the yellow ribbon when all living human kind agree to come home to our creator in planet of apes.
Those who want to stay behind without the yellow ribbon prepare to get themselves kick on the butts by our creator with earth, wind, fire, water and plagues in own backyards in planet of apes.
Luke 21. 22-24
