Sure. Just fill out their form and submit it with a letter explaining the situation, and asking for an extension of a week or two. If you can attach a paper stating the exam's date it would probably help you too. Be sure and follow up your reply to them with a phone call to the court house. You'll need to make a copy of the original summons. There shouldn't be any problem.

Yes, you should easily be able to contact the court and have your jury duty postponed until after your finals.

Final examinations is a valid reason not to attend the jury duty but you have to inform the court in order not to be declared in contempt.

while you're a registered voter, faster or later you would be called yet that doesn't recommend you will serve. hundreds of persons would be called each and each week yet not all would be chosen for somewhat some motives. And while human beings say to lie and act like some racist jerk, that isn't unavoidably artwork to get you out. the two facets are in seek of malable human beings, human beings they might sway one way or the different. so which you will desire to flow in sturdy on your convictions, somebody unwavering in what they suspect. And clever, they do unlike clever human beings. So the smarter you return off the a lot greater probably you would be excused.

I think you should try and get it postponed, but don't try to get out of it completely. I served on a jury once and it was a great learning experience.

I think you could probably get exempt. However, you might actually want to consider trying to get on a jury sometimes. If you're on a jury, you can refuse to let them send somebody to jail if they are prosecuting them for violating some unjust law. Trying to get yourself on juries intentionally can be a good idea if you believe that the government should not be committing acts of aggression against people, as they frequently do (drug laws, anti-youth laws, "insider trading," tax evasion, trumped-up charges etc.).
On a jury, you have the right to judge the guilt of a person, the justice of the law, and many other things. It is important to be informed of that, because if you aren't you might send somebody off to jail unjustly. Never change your innocent verdict to guilty to please other jurors. That is highly immoral. Instead, make them change their verdicts to innocent or force it to be a mistrial.
Juries should always be informed of their rights and determined to ensure that if there is any doubt (not just any reasonable doubt) of a person's guilt, that the verdict be innocent. The jury is the only check on the power of the local police department.

Very probably you can.
The Summons should tell you where to write or call. Do some preparation and be ready to provide them copies of proof of enrollment and exam schedule.
