Check out my earlier question from a few minutes ago about restored voting rights. Many people say "yes", citing the debt paid to society. It'll be interesting to see if that logic applies to gun rights.

No matter how strongly you feel about something, I don't find it appropriate to scrutinize and become angry with other because they don't agree with you. Politcal discussion has a way of making people act like this.

If so, why aren't we seeing it? Are people more apathetic or are there no things left worthy of such action?

Every day more and more people are finding out that our government was behind September 11th.
Will this blow up at some point and cause a catastrophe? How can anything come from the truth without bringing down the government, CIA and the rest of the web? Can it be brought down? Can a new government be installed without loosing everything?

I think that burning our flag is a heinous act, I do believe, however, that we should not ban this act.

Ive always worked in the background but recently Ive been asked to run for a local office that id likely win but I am an EXTREME introvert but have just done a good job of hiding it. I was invited to a political function(which Ive been trying to avoid) and found it hard to strike a conversation and quite frankly came off like a dufus. I didnt think it was obvious but the next day I got a call by one of my friends/financial backers that I came off as shy and standoffish:'( He also said that hes trying his best to keep his people from pulling the plug on me because of it. I dont have a problem talking to a crowd of people or fullfilling my duties. My biggest problem is part of politics people dont see like going to all the functions, parties, fundraisers, etc. If I dont go I could get ostrizised from party leadership and be seen as not loyal. Being a lawmaker is my dream job But is this lifestyle something an introvert can live?

I have to go to jury selection next week for a case that is expected to last 7 weeks. If I go dressed like a thug, (i.e. backwards hat, baggy clothes, etc,) will that make me less likely to get selected?

There were a few hundred answers on there. I'm imagining somebody who answers this will have seen it, I'm sure. I suppose it's by Jane Fonda, as much as I'm Naturegirl. On here you can name yourself anything you want. But I doubt that's her real name.

I mean, why would she ask a question about the upcoming movie she's starring in instead of one of the many that she's in that are already on video?? She's also an activist against our government's military involvement in many of the wars. Why didn't she ask a question about that instead, if she cares about it so much??

Many got on there and answered her question, many simply used it as an opportunty to ridicule her on her political views. There was only one girl who said, "who cares?? What about the war in Iraq?" That girl, I have to admit, wasn't me. I'm a little slow sometimes. ;)

In addition, Yahoo gave her a 10 day extention! I'm betting it's a ploy to draw attention to the movie so they will have a big turnout.

are outrageous. They are mistreated, not properly represented and stuck to rot with animals that hate Americans. How bout we trade every unjustly locked up American rotting in Foreign jails for all the illegals and pay Mexico to take the extra 19 million illegal Mexicans back at a dollar a pop? sounds great to me!!!!!!!!

With the price of gasoline at an all time high, it's past time that we all band together to do something about it. The only thing that seems to be understood by those that control such things is money. Let's shut off the flow of money to those who continue to rip us off at the gas pumps.

Until prices go back to below $1 per gallon, I suggest that we simply shut down the country.

From now on, every Friday when gas prices have risen for the weekend, we just stay home. That's right. We don't drive. We don't buy anything. No commerce. No taxes collected.

We don't go to work.
We don't go to the store.
We don't use electricity.
We don't make long distance phone calls.
We do nothing that will result in a tax being collected.
Nothing!

Are you an american with the balls to stand up and force a change? It's past time that congress forced the issue with the oil producing countries that have benefitted from our friendship for so long.
