I don't know why we are attacking other countries. We have enough people for the government to focus on in the USA. Get rid of gang members, illegal aliens, radical muslims... come on! Clean up our own country before we try to clean up the rest of them.

No, an attack on Iran is extremely unlikely. Consider the past provocations by Iran, such as the 'Hotage Crisis' in which American soil (albeit and embasy) was invaded and Americans held hostage for over a year. That failed to provoke an attack from the US. But, even if there is one, I think the politicians will more likely send the military to do it.
Iranian air defenses might be confused by all the hot air politicians could bring to bear, though. ;)

It has long been assumed that the continued US presence in Iraq is in order to have troops over in the region when we need them to drop kick into Iran for another failed "Mission Accomplished".
Bush wont be satisfied till every available man and woman under 25 is maimed or killed.

"are the politicians about to attack Iran? "
To answer this direct question, hell no!! These chicken liver ed politicians are not about to attack anybody, even a all girls kindergarten.
They very well may send some troops into battle again, but for them to personally attack, no no, not ever, only with chin music do they get tough.

Politicians only make verbal attacks. They send in the troops to do the fighting and take all the risks.

Don't think so at this time. Our military is quite thin now and Iran would not be a pushover as Iraq was.

I don't know, but I'd like them to. We'll get the Iraqi's to help, along with the forced labor of terrorists. The terrorist have the ingenuity.
