With the price of gasoline at an all time high, it's past time that we all band together to do something about it. The only thing that seems to be understood by those that control such things is money. Let's shut off the flow of money to those who continue to rip us off at the gas pumps.

Until prices go back to below $1 per gallon, I suggest that we simply shut down the country.

From now on, every Friday when gas prices have risen for the weekend, we just stay home. That's right. We don't drive. We don't buy anything. No commerce. No taxes collected.

We don't go to work.
We don't go to the store.
We don't use electricity.
We don't make long distance phone calls.
We do nothing that will result in a tax being collected.
Nothing!

Are you an american with the balls to stand up and force a change? It's past time that congress forced the issue with the oil producing countries that have benefitted from our friendship for so long.

Your either part of the solution or part of the problem. Are you with me?

All in favor, say, "Aye!"

We'll start this Friday.

If you don't hear from me again, the government has killed me off or threatened me.

Tisk, tisk. Isn't it a shame that people won't join together but instead stand by and say, "It'll never work", before they have even given it a try?

Strike is the only potent weapon remaining in the citizens and the workforce against the government or businesses that are abusing them. Thus, in order that it be effective, everybody must join so that the mission of paralyzing the operations of the government or companies will be achieved and the grievances properly addressed just like the lowering of gas prices.

I used to dislike the price of gas, then I started riding a bike.

Biking is okay, but I definitely prefer to travel by car.

In fact, biking to work for a week made me appreciate the car and gas a lot more.

I'd actually pay up to $8 a gallon for gas to avoid cycling.

So we should try to shut down the entire economy because gas companies are making about eight cents on the gallon? There's an easier way to bring down the price of gas. Change your habits. Ride a bike. Use public transportation. Car pool. Maybe build a refinery or two. That's the way you bring down gas prices.

I think that's a good idea about the gas. I won't go to the gas station on the weekends anyway because I believe the prices are insane.
So I'm with you

WELL THERE IS ONE SIMPLE SOLUTION GO FOR THE CONSEVATIVE SOURCE OF ENERGY

OR START USING AVALIABLE RESOURCES MORE JUDICIALY ..

CAUSE ITS NOT IN THE HAND OF GOVT. TO CONTROL PRICES WHEN DEMAND IS MORE AND SUPPLY IS LESS...

I THINK U MUST BE UNDERSTANDING THIS SIMPLE TERMINOLOGY...
