This is crazy talk. No one wants us to fail. However, the thinking behind this sorry episode is failed/flawed....sad.
There was a reason that the first President Bush refused to occupy Iraq in GW1. Occupation = failure.
The CIA and regime change, or solid containment is the only thing that makes sense.
