I was summoned for jury duty earlier this month. I am a full time student and am on my way to study for a few months in London, on June 7th. I had told the court, or who ever, months ago I was a full time student and still they sent notice and said that I didn't have to send in another form if I sent one in before. With all the planning and school I lost track of the summons and forgot to attend. What should I do? What will they do to me? I called them like the letter said to do and it said that I don't have a new summons date, then I checked my status and there was nothing. Then I checked my imformation and it was correct. I pressed the button that told them I am a full time student. I also left a detailed message on the message service they provide. How much trouble am I in?

Most Americans understand that with the electoral college in place, election results can be, and have been, different then the popular vote. Whether or not this is just, as has been debated, I believe a lot of potential voters are feeling disenfranchised by this fact and are neglecting to vote as they feel their vote won't matter (IE: A Democrat in Texas, or a Republican in New York, or a Green Party anywhere).

Compare our voter turnout (54%) to some of other countries. Italy and Austria, among others, are in the 90's, and even our neighbor to the north is over 20% higher than ours. What can we do to promote a higher voter turnout?

As a conservative political/social activist I am dismayed to see so little conservatives taking a role in political activism. We should be protesting in front of the Supreme Court to ban abortion. We should be protesting against gay marriage. We should be in front of the White House to stop the immigration bill.

Women are the majority in this country...and they could make a difference in the upcoming election if they voted for Hillary Clinton. We want the first female President in history, women can make it happen.

I am so thankful for each and every military person past and present who give their lives, limbs and time to protect each and every one of us. I do not want this question to have anything to do with supporting or not supporting our military people past and present. I would like to know if you are proud to be an American. Do you feel that we project a good image in the world. When you travel abroad are you proud to say where you are from? My 16 year old daughter is traveling to Japan in June through a program started by President Eisenhaur...She will be a student ambassador there. She is really putting a great deal of thought into what America represents...Your feedback is most apperciated.

Why is it “Illegal Mexicans” are the only ones that can’t seem to grasp this concept?

Legal Immigration is NOT the same as “Illegal Immigration” AND… Mexicans are not the only ones.

I have two grandkids that are half “Mexican” and the other half is mutt like me. On the other side of their family, they have two grandparents that came to the U.S. legally, became citizens and even learned the language. They are great people - I enjoy spending time with them as well as sharing our grandkids.

Do it right, or not at all!

I received my 1st jury summons in the mail and I do not want to go. I am pregnant and it's far from my home. I called my doctor's office for a note and the nurse said they provide letters but that they are always denied. So if I can't get out of that how do you get out of jury duty then? Thoughts? Ideas?

I had been a faithful voter for several elections. But after the elections the people I elected failed in their promise to uplift the life of the people that I am getting so heart-broken. So I want answers from several people all-over-the-world who are voters to answer my questions. Is it still relevant to fulfill my duty as a citizen to choose the people to rule my country? Thank you.

The sons of liberty were important in leading the colonies to fight for independance from England. In the last 100 years Washington DC has become very corrupt, and this country is headed down a dark path. Are you one of those who believe in Thomas Jeffersons words "god forbid this country ever go 20 years without a rebellion" Well the rebellion is long overdue, and action is needed, even armed insurrection, if need be, to help straighten this country out, and restore the freedoms under the Constitution. If you are this type of person then please answer the question!

I heard the Cato Institue said, "Gas will have to go up to $4.35 before people start changing their driving habits and protest the gas hike." Do you agree...??? How much before you do something about it? What can we do, especially those who need to drive to work, school, medical and stuff? AND for those who's towns don't have transit, or who can't ride a bike 17 miles to town...what do they do?

Why does the Council force me to do this? Are they in the pay of Chinese Jig-saw Puzzle manufacturers?
Do Chinese Jig-saw fanatics pay money to put my little plastic windows back into my envelopes.
I believe that the whole lot is then thrown into a hole with loud cries of "Stupid English for sorting Rubbish"

If this is so,why don't the Council just come round and rob me?
Save a lot of work for everyone.
