Would you defend your country, or would you cry we should have not done that?

If we were invaded, I would defend. A certain percentage of us would sit around and deny there was a problem, but blame the rest of us for the problem they deny is happening.

I am more curious about that part of your question where you say we were invaded for a reason THAT THE US DESERVED. What do you have in mind. Are you insinuating that the US could possibly do something that would justify an invasion? People have been answering that they would fight to the death to defeat the invader but they aren't asking why the invasion in the first place. Can we translate this question to the Palestinian situation. Israel had invaded and has occupied the West Bank and the Gaza strip for several decades, territories that the Palestinian people call their home. Why do we call them terrorists when they try to fight back and expel the invaders by any means necessary when everyone here is saying they would do the same thing should we be invaded. Getting back to the question, if I had to I would defend my family but at the same time, I would hate to be ignorant for the reasons of the invasion and if we were indeed at fault, I would do everything I could to see that we changed our policies so that we would not be vulnerable to an attack in the future.

In the unlikely event that this did happen I would defend my country to the death if for no other reason then to protect my family. Besides what kind of an answer would you expect people to give other than that?

I would defend it. But there IS a time when we can stop defending our country because the country we are fighting has been re-established.

in all due respect the invasion has already occurred. infact the nation has been invaded twice. one was quick and deadly ( 9/11) and the other has been taking place for sometime now ( just walk across the imaginary borderline).the imaginary borderline poses a supreme problem with govermental indecision at the forefront. no telling how many haters of our culture are in the states now due to our lack of border control. get ready!!!

It's difficult to think of any reason why anyone would not defend their country against foreign invasion. Ever.

You say "IF", have you looked around lately? We have ALREADY been invaded.

Yet when there are rallies for anti-illegal immigration our numbers always seem to be smaller then the Illegals, why is that?

Hmmm...

Is this a hypothetical situation where Al Queda invades America and takes it over because according to Ron Paul, we deserved it?

I would say, that I would DEFINITELY fight back, because in my mind, people like Ron Paul are wrong, and I also know that Al Queda is here to either convert me to Islam, or murder me. I'm kicking a$$.
