At the time these reservations were made in constitution, there were weaker sections and the govt.wanted to uplift them by giving opportunity to study and get job in govt. Today the situation has changed and because of the better positions the reserved category is more successful than the unreserved in every field. It is hightime for the government to make amendment in the Constitution to remove all sort of reservations in order to get better and qualified persons with brain in govt.services. Because of the reservations only these types of inhuman and violent actions are taken by group of persons whereby forcing the govt.to bow before such anti-social elements. Govt should not care for the vote banks of the politicians but should care for the future of the country. In no other country these types of reservations are given. India should stop all these stupid reservation policy.

Some college student of INDIA who is top ranker & very confident boy of the class, is preparing for coming exams in Library;
sitting next to some female class-mate.
Both start talking about their preparation of exams.
He says his preparation is not good & he want to take a **celfose** tablet to die...he looks very normal to her while saying it.
She is completely unaware about what is going in his personnal life as she does not come in his friend circle.
She thinks he is joking or
trying to make her scared or
trying to falsely influence her for sympathy or
trying to flirt with her.
She replies jokingly ;''oh!,really?ok, do it ..then you will contribute in reducing INDIA's population which has become very high''.
Both laughs at this reply.
Next day she listens that he has comitted SUICIDE by hanging & his family was giving him antidepressant psychiatric treatment from 1 month.
IS SHE RESPONSIBLE FOR ABETTMENT OF SUICIDE?

Just got through reading Dereliction of Duty, that was writtin by a for millitary adviser for Bill Clinton, I was agast to learn that clinton had lost the top secret launch codes for the nuclear arsenal while on vacation and failed to inform the proper millitary personnel for like a whole day. What a disaster that could have been. Then wrote it off and blamed it all on a intern, my question is what the hell is a white house intern doing with top secret missle codes..

If you do this, you must be a democrat. If you do this, you must be a republican. Republicans do this and Democrats believe in that....

Where is the critical analysis? Labels don't mean anything!

Like the movie Starship Troopers, people do not get the right to vote unless they serve the government in some fashion for a period of 2 years. I think this may be a good idea. You cannot vote unless you serve in teh military, the police, city or natiional government, or a non-profit agency that gives to the people for 2 years. What do you think? Do you think that it will make for a better nation?

THESE DAYS REMINDS ME OF BIBILICAL TIMES WHEN PHORAH'S HEART WAS HARDENED. Seems like BUSH AND A FEW REPUBLICANS' HEART ARE HARDENED, 2!!

Cindy Sheehan 'resigns' as protest leader
FORT WORTH, Texas -- Cindy Sheehan, the soldier's mother who galvanized an anti-war movement with her month long protest outside President Bush's ranch, said Tuesday she's done being the public face of the movement."I've been
wondering why I'm killing myself and wondering why the Democrats caved in to George Bush," Sheehan told The Associated Press while driving from her property in Crawford to the airport, where she planned to return to her native California
"I'm going home for awhile to try and be normal," she said.In what she described as a "resignation letter," Sheehan wrote in her oline diary on the "Daily Kos" blog: "Good-bye America ... you are not the country that I love and I finally realized no matter how much I sacrifice, I can't make you be that country unless you want it.
"It's up to you now."

what has happened to free speech. with each passing day more americans are being ostratracized and attacked for speaking out against the war and gorege bush.

the constitiution allows us to express our fellings freely, to speak up and speak out. unfortunately many of you will attack those who speak the truth or those who simply have an opinion.

in a very strange bit of irony in the country that most offers freedom its citizens seem unable to cope with the freedom that is given.

due to our inability respect and understand others words i fear that one day freedom of speech will be a thing of the past and we will live in an orwellian nightmare of government control.

jean paul sarte said that "man is condemed to be free". can we handle our freedom, is free speech important any more and are we ready to give up our lives to government control.

i love my freedom and i dont want to see it diluted or destroyed by those who do not apreciate or respect it.

The terrorists in Iraq are cowards, they run and mix with other innocent civilians to hide. I dont think the answer is to level the country. But how else are we gonna do it. Do you think our lives are worth their freedoms? What happens when another terrorist attack IS successfull, there is no one left to attack. Where are our allies at, should we start asking for help?

American's only please. I'm searching for a quest to unite us, something we can all agree on. Please leave out disrecpectful comments and bite your tounge. Don't talk about Republicans or Democrats, they are both the problem. Is it politics in general? Have politicians gone to crazy and currupt? IF so, how will we fix it ASAP!

By scary i mean. We can't enforce our own laws (border security) We can't win a war in Iraq, the people are cowards, they mix with average citizens. Is the answer to just level the whole country? I dont think so.. but how else? Global warming is WAYYY out of control. It's problem after problem. Should we just bring every citizen back home and "turtle up" our deffence? Politicians say that will leave us helpless? When are we all gonna stop caring about who won American Idle and start DEMANDING our future lives be guaranteed? I dont think you guys are getting it... One single HUGE problem (natural, man-made, whatever), and that's it!!!

For some reason, I get called for jury duty every single year. My husband and friends hardly ever get called. I have been lucky the past few times. Either my number is not needed, or when I go, I am dismissed in the waiting room.

I run a business from home, I have two children, and I can't afford to take time off to do jury duty. They just called me again for the middle of June and I asked for a postponment because I don't want this potentially messing up my entire summer vacation plans.

Please don't flame me with "civic duty" stuff. I have served on jurys before and I am tired of doing it.

Please tell me the best excuses to tell the judge so that I can be excused from service, in case my number comes up again at my postponment date.

My friend says that if you show a non-refundable airplane ticket you will get excused. I'm even thinking of asking one of my doctors to help me -- I have back trouble so maybe a doctor's note for that?

I'm only 31 year's old and am constantly summoned! I've received 11 of them & have already served twice. I've talked to numerous people at the jury duty commission & they keep apologizing & excusing me but I keep on getting them, like a month apart!

I have a home based pet kennel boarding business & I am the only person who runs it. I am single, have only an elderly father and disabled mother in my family, no employees, and 2 friends who have full time jobs. I cannot leave other people's live animals, esp. sick ones requiring medications, alone all day. Not to mention I have business hours 7 days a week which is advertised everywhere, reservations up to a year in advance which I cannot cancel.

I'm at my whits end! What would happen if I simply don't go? Has anyone not gone and what happened to you?

Regardless of whether or not you agree with the war, I think it's still important to support our troops. They risk their lives on a daily basis to protect the freedoms that many of us take for granted. So, I'm curious to see what you do to show your support.
I've sent care packages. I stop every person in uniform I see, just to thank them - I frequent the DFW airport, so that's not an easy task if you've ever been there.....thank goodness for long layovers and flight delays, LOL!
I offer to buy coffee, lunch, etc for people in uniforms.
They all tell me they don't hear many people thanking them - I want to do as much as possible. Any new ideas for me?
If you're looking to insult the war or our troops, don't bother, nobody wants to hear you.
