Can some of you not read?
He was not targeting the illegal mexicans, but they seem to be the main ones that continue to protest our government because they don't have the same rights as citizens of the United States.
Hmm. Wonder why that is.
He also said, "Legal Immigration is NOT the same as “Illegal Immigration” AND… Mexicans are not the only ones."
Illegal immigration is illegal. I don't care who you are, it is not right. We don't march into Mexico to protest their government, so why is it that they do it to ours? They may work hard, but if they did not go through the legalization process and respect OUR laws, then they have no reason to be here and should have no citizen rights.
Deport all of the illegals and urge Americans to get up off of their butts and to stop complaining.

I agree completely. There are many people who can come into this country the correct (legal) way. Are any citizens of the United States allowed to break laws? Do we get punished when we do? Why should anybody, especially non-citizens, be allowed to break laws? I'm sure that the immigrants who are crossing know they are breaking a law.
Mexicans are not the only ones crossing into the United States illegally, but they are the most numerous. Mexicans alone make up 54% of the total number of illegal immigrants, which combined with other Central and South American countries make up 81% of the total. Only 19% of illegal immigration comes from other countries.
Illigal immigration increases crime. According to a House of Representatives committee on illegal immigration, "Through other violations of our immigration laws, Mexican drug cartels are able to extend their command and control into the United States. Drug smuggling fosters, subsidizes, and is dependent upon continued illegal immigration and alien smuggling."

Any of you ever been in a line to work? If you get picked you make a fifty for picking tomatoes, or cutting trees... ever done it?
When was the last time any of you sold newspaper in a intersection... rain and shine... rain and shine?
We all know this new focus on immigration is part of the usual tactic of escapism that the US pop. has been taught to resort to when it hits the fan. Manipulated in to a war that is destroying your economy? blame the spiks. Will deporting them fix the proble? Who cares, we are American and lynching is what we do best.
Wake up, the people you have to round up are the goons of the military-industrial gang and their media sidekicks.
Those who criticize illegal immigration either ignore the outrageous costs or oppose poor people coming into this country. If it is the first, then i suggest you do a bit of research to see how costly legal procedures are. If it is the second, well, you know, then you are all about class war, about screwing the poor, and that is fine. Really, that is just great, the more the fascists rub the sores of the poor the more that come out, the angrier, and you will see us crumble not only that Berlin Wall but the whole system of oppression.
War on the poor, fine, we are more.

First off, too bad some people see Mexican and Illegal mentioned in one PARAGRAPH and automatically assume (break that word up) that someone is saying all Mexicans are illegal. I'll stop that train of thought so I don't get reported, but let your mind wander with it.
There was a story on the news yesterday about a man, his wife and baby daughter who came up from Mexico on a Sponsored Work Visa. They extended it, applied for Citizenship, and were granted it. This man and his wife have worked in this Country for the last 18 years. Bought a home, saved, and educated their children here. Their oldest daughter graduated high school this week. She also got her acceptance letter to Yale University.
That is the American Dream. Good for them, and great for the young woman. They did it right. For them it worked the way it is supposed to.

Let me see, the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 made it illegal for asians to immigrate to the United States. It and subsequent renewal acts were in force until repeal in 1943 when 105/year were permitted. "Illegal" Mexicans are similarly excluded because of rather arbitrary and stupid laws which do not reflect the economic realities of both Mexico, where labor wages are about 10% of the USA and the US where we have an increasing shortage of unskilled labor. Doing it right is more a matter of making immigration law reflect the realities of a global economy than it is punishing those who have acted on the pull of Americas economic work force needs.

Dude, you need to do a little more research Mexicans are not the only illegals in this country, but unfortunately for Mexicans the spotlight is placed on them due to the border.
Chinese, Irish, Cubans, Haitians, Vietnamese, Philippinos, Iranians, Arabs, the list is rather big...should I keep going?

It is not just the Mexicans, there are other nationalities here
but the biggest percentage of the illegals are Mexican.
I live in an area that has a higher Mexican population than
white/other, most of these people don't want the illegal
ones over here either and most of them are very nice
family oriented people.
We should take all of the illegals and ship them home.

Well to understand the present, there is the need to take a look at the past. History answers the questions. remember most of the S.western US was not originally owned by the U.S. Also read the Alamo and the after effects. I will tell you plainly, this is history repeating itself.

I totally agree. Living in So. CA I have many friends (and co-workers) that are U.S. citizens of Mexican birth. LEGAL immigrants. So it is not so very hard that it can't be done legally, it just will take some time.

Please don't stereotype. How can you say this so openly that they are only Illegal Mexicans? How can you tell? Do you have a sensor or an Illegal Mexican detector to say this. Isn't our Country made of numerous legal and illegal immigrants?
Maybe I misunderstood your question, because after wards you say Mexicans are not the only ones. Please enlighten me.
