The sons of liberty were important in leading the colonies to fight for independance from England. In the last 100 years Washington DC has become very corrupt, and this country is headed down a dark path. Are you one of those who believe in Thomas Jeffersons words "god forbid this country ever go 20 years without a rebellion" Well the rebellion is long overdue, and action is needed, even armed insurrection, if need be, to help straighten this country out, and restore the freedoms under the Constitution. If you are this type of person then please answer the question!

I look back on American history and I see an unbroken march to greatness that continues to this day. Oh there are fits and starts, the pendulum swings back and forth some, and some level of corruption is always there. But for 200 years we have expanded the idea of Freedom, Fairness, the rule of law and self determination from white male property owners to most everyone. (But not everyone just yet). The only 'armed insurrection' since the revolution was the Civil war and it was not undertaken to expand freedom and rights, but to preserve selected rights to a chosen few (i.e. white men).
So what are you rebelling against, exactly? Taxes (nope, they are constitutional), The war in Iraq? - well that is a steaming pile but I imagine we will work it out without an internal rebellion. Immigration? Well we are a nation of immigrants, and our economy is growing faster than the population can serve. So we need them. Making it legal for the people that need to be here to be here only makes sense. (as does securing our borders so we decide who comes in and not the free-for-all we have had the last 20 years).
So exactly what is your call to action all about? What specifically is the dark path we are on? To paraphrase Seinfeld, I think its a rebellion about nothing.

I am all with you (except for the armed insurrection part). I am willing to do the work I just don't know where to start.
