Chevy and General Motors have already begun talks for Toyota to purchase them. Ford is beginning to talk to Nissan about the possibility of a take over.
What are we doing America? How many of us can learn the Asian language? Well, we best be taking lessons soon!
Ford sells out to Nissan, Chevy and GM sells out to Yoyota, and then every vehicle bought and sold in America will be foreign. This will take money beign made by our American owners, which is mostly re-spent in America, out of America and to the Asian countries. More US dollars will be come Asian dollars, leaving more for research and development of new technologies. This will give them the advantage they need to take over the USA. The next thing you know our President will be Hu Jintao or someone simular. Do you think they will hire an interpretor so we can understand more about our new Martial Law?

We need to go to work, and start buying American cars if our government sits back and lets this happen!

It appears that they both protect civil and human rights but are there any differences or are they mirror images of each other? What are the differences between civil and human rights? I thought they were basically the same. Thanks!

I read a story out of St Petersburg Fla about some peice of feces raping an 8 year old girl on a sidewalk in broad daylight as she was walking home from the playground with her younger brother. What is wrong with people??? I grew up in the 80's and in the summer, my friends and I would walk to the local pool at 2 and 3am and never had any fear of any one or anything hurting us. WTF is going on?

How do we return to decency? Have we come too far to reclaim some sort of decent society? How sad for our children and grandchildren.

What if all of us online got together with one voice? What if we promoted non violence? Here is a story about what one man can do.
Once upon a time there was a monk.He noticed thousands of fish had beached out.He started picking them up one by one and throwing them back.A child playing on the beach noticed. He shouted out to him"Sir!! there are thousands of them how can you make a difference?"
The monk picked another fish and as the fish swam back to the sea he shouted" I made a difference to that one."
The child got up threw one more fish in.His friends joined in soon.

Can I and you make a difference? Will we?

Maybe it is time to have a woman in office. She is rich already so she doesn't need the bribes. She is socially and politcially aware. She has a machine behind her--she has run businesses for years (the magazine and TV show). Do you think she should run as a Republican or Democrat? (She may have to compete with Mrs. Clinton if she goes Democrat.) I think she'd be a better Republican because she believes in hard work, not welfare.

"we all have to do our part to save the planet" I hear said all the time. Look at the top ten richest people in the world. Those ten individuals could end world hunger all alone. TEN PEOPLE out of the billions on earth could change the world forever. Instead they get bigger houses with rooms that stay empty, Wear jewelry that alone could save a nation, and buy thier own islands just so they dont have to look at the billions starving. So i ask "what can the world do to make these ten fools save the world"

Seems everytime you post a political question on Yahoo's "ask a question" you get an answer from someone who sounds like a military recruiter, ESPECIALLY if you say something negative about Bush and his supporters creating policies that are double standards and hold the arrogant assumption that somehow U.S. civilians are better than Iraqi or Lebanese civilians who somehow deserve to die in this great "war" against terrorism. In fact, it seems as soon as you mention the word "civilian" the military are all over Yahoo with word searches or something in this desperate attempt to find out what the public is thinking. Is the U.S. military running Yahoo question and answers? (Please don't come and kill me as a suspected terrorist for having found out if this is indeed true.)

Since the price of gas is so high what do you think about fining any purchaser of an SUV or any other gas guzzling vehicle that is not being used for a occupational purpose? Just a question but im sure there will be some political know-it-alls who will have their condescending comments anyway.

I don't usually begrudge people's beliefs. In this case, what they publicly state is damaging to the US. It is completely irrational and could embolden terrorism here. Terrorists could read this drivel and conclude that we are divided and weak. This concerns me. Terrorists are irrational too.

They are engaging in "communal reinforcement" which perpetuates and exacerbates their logical fallacies.

The conspiracies are such as 9/11 was created by Bush, Bush is erasing the borders, the elitists are going to enslave us all, illegal immigration is a plot...yada.

Disturbing. And they really antagonize the militant pro-immigrant bunch. Racism is rampant there.

Maybe if they hear enough from the "real world", it may influence their behavior so they can get some help.

Email me if you would like to participate and try to make a difference.

No wise-acre remarks please. These people need serious help.

If he runs as an Independent, he will take away much needed votes from the Democratic candidate. What I am hearing today is that he wants to run, but the party won't nominate him. Do you think he will run as an Independent if he isn't the Dem Party's choice?
