What if all of us online got together with one voice? What if we promoted non violence? Here is a story about what one man can do.
Once upon a time there was a monk.He noticed thousands of fish had beached out.He started picking them up one by one and throwing them back.A child playing on the beach noticed. He shouted out to him"Sir!! there are thousands of them how can you make a difference?"
The monk picked another fish and as the fish swam back to the sea he shouted" I made a difference to that one."
The child got up threw one more fish in.His friends joined in soon.

Can I and you make a difference? Will we?

Here's the thing you have to consider.

It is VERY egotistical to think that everyone ought to have YOUR definition of what makes peace.

Such ironies here in the West! We preach "tolerance" but can't seem to tolerate anyone having a different ideal than us.

It's not about Western ideals of nonviolence. It is about ages old cultures and THEIR ideals of what means peace.

Ask Kim whatsisname of N.Korea what his ideal for peace is, and he'll tell you, well, first rid the world of the U.S.

Ask any Muslim extremist what their ideal is, and they'll tell you, rid the world of non-muslims.

Yeah, I disagree with Kim and those Muslims.....but therein lies the problem.

Yeah. We can ALL work for peace. Trouble is,, that word means different things to different folks....and right now, they think they ARE working for peace.
