I am Arabian, so I guess that stereotypes me into being a terrorist.

Well, sort of, but this is not a political answer I'm going to give. It is a Social one. I am fairly new to the small american town I have moved to,from my larger american city. This place is one of those that is too populated by people who don't believe the World goes beyond the County Line.
Every day I feel I have to endure their prying eyes and gossip about the New Guy. It makes for a big paranoia, right here in the place that is supposed to be free of it. And since 9 11 Day, it has only gotten worse. This is how those men who claim their god told them to murder americans have completely won. Gee, I don't ever recall the Pope telling me he talked to God, and God said "Kill Someone". Anyway these ratfinks won because, look how much this new nationwide fear has slowed down our economy, got school administrators looking for Nail Files and, doctors to install the Hippo Laws. Somewhere a man with a muderous god, is sitting on a porch sipping tea and laughing at us. Yet we just suck it up and buy into it. my neighbors seem to think with their short education, that since my ancestors, american patriots from 300 years back were Welsh,(that is a part of the United Kingdom, I reminded neighbors) and one parent was Scicilian, I have genetically got 'swarthy' (not African, but almost Mediteranean toned) skin, that surely I am a terrorist. They have never however tried to just say Hello to me and see that my eyes are BLUE. They are terrified to meet anything new. But I suffer terror from their gossip. The fear needs to stop.

Maybe this is a good place for this info I got: Can a good Muslim be a good American?
I sent that question to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years.
The following is his reply:
Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia.
Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)
Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).
Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.
Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.
Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual
leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and Destruction of America, the great Satan.
Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife (wives) when she (they)disobeys him (Quran 4:34).
Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist.
Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Spiritually - no. Because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.
Therefore after much study and deliberation.... perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both "good" Muslims and good Americans.
Call it what you wish.... it's still the truth.
So here's hoping that all the Musims over here are like some catholics I know that they are Musim in name only.....lol
The religious war is bigger than we know or understand. So be careful

Drug dealers are terrorists! (At least on the local level.) Our neighborhood drug dealer sells to kids and adults. She just got probation for 5 drug felonies and 9 probation violations! She is out and conducting business as usual. She has been turned in many times, however, since policemen are also her customers it does no good. She has terrorized the neighborhood for years!!

Yes! I live near a whole menagerie of teenagers and they terrorize everyone, but since it is only a passing phase, the police will only do so much, and parents always back their kids even if they are Satan's spawns. Damn Teens!

I don't really know what goes on in their house. But, if I ever did suspect them, I supposed I'd turn them in.
