Even if it's a joke, for a person who is reading it, and English is not their first language the interpritation of this humour can be taken the wrong way. This is not just for the English i ask this, it's for all Races. Think about it.

IMF is coming and we know the Government are trying thier best to motivate Singaporean to smile and also Go the Extra Mile Service...I am jus wondering....how can we achieve that?? Only the service provider can go the extra mile or even general singaporean who are not into the service sector can perform the same....i mean some of us do complain alot...and i dun mean to say all the complains are not geniune....what i'm trying to say here is..every singaporean have a part to play no matter which sector you are or even you are jobless...you can provide gd service and leave a gd impression for the delegates...but if they witness how some singaporean behave while in the restaurant or retail outlet...or anywhere...i think it will leave a even deeper impression on us...the only way we can achieve is that we all have a part to play regardless of what you working as...be it you are a customer, guest or service provider...we have to show respect to one another...

Mankind has been worshipping eternal damnation for centuries. What began this worship and in your opinion why? What would be the opposite of eternal damnation? How could mankind be focused onto a newer, more functional truth about life and death? In your opinion what will happen when more dangerous weapons get in the hands of those who worship eternal damnation as truth in their opposing ways? Why do so many people who say that they believe in One God not see that that in reality, One God is inseparable from itself, that each being is part of that One God collectively in spirit and being? Why can't people begin to see that this life is a rollercoaster ride of illusions of justice and injustice, righteousness and unrighteousness that we helped create, as we are parts of the original God? What is spiritual terrorism?

No one will judge you here--I'm seriously wondering why some people don't vote at all, especially when there are such important issues facing all of you/us. Your answers don't need to come down to Libs vs. Cons if you don't want--I just find it very unsettling that more people voted for the last American Idol than have EVER voted in a presidential election! So I'm just conducting a Yahoo! Answers survey.

Condi Rice said that it is ok for Iraqi to burn the US Flag. That it show that they have freedom. But her party is at the same time trying to pass an amendment making it illegal to burn the flag here in the US. If that is not a perfect example of what a bunch of hypocrits this administration is I do not know what will.

They used to teach debate in our public schools, but its no longer an elective (at least where I live). Has this led to the death of real/intellectual debate? For example, people ask questions on this site and give points to whoever agrees with them. The majority are not open to other views or appreciate a good argument. Should we put debate back into our curriculum? What can be done to resolve this?
