No, I don;t research all the candidates, it takes too much time however there is a website that does. It also lists all of their stances and how much money they have taken from interest groups. The website is Vote-smart.org try it out!
Best of luck!

Though I am not of voting age yet, I have studied the candidates by using online sources, National Public Radio, newspaper, gathering a wide variety of opinions from teachers, friends, family, etc... I try to figure everything out that I can.
I wish that more people researched their candidates. It always bothers me when someone votes unknowingly, or (worse) straight ticket. Thank God in heaven that straight ticket is no longer offered. That means you all have to think, now. Yay!
Come on, people, let's get educated. I bet you that I'm 15, and I know more about politics, world events, national events, bills, laws, and government than 75% of adults in America. Thank goodness that there are a few of you out there that can make proper, educated decisions for me until I am old enough to vote. Thanks to you, maybe 25%, out there--I really love you guys!

I do. New York City is a very political place, so there are many groups that offer different opinions on all candidates running for office. I look at a candidate from all angles before I cast my vote.

No, just what the city sends me in the pamphlet. I don't really like anyone there is running. If it wasn't for the fact I am permanently on absentee ballot, I wouldn't vote. The candidates suck, the proposals are always put through no matter what my opinion is so I don't see any point in it. In addition, everytime you vote, they may pop you for jury duty. I don't care for it anymore and I doubt I ever will. If I ever get off of the ballot, I will not re-register. Good question!!!

I just vote straight republican every time because I am afraid the left wing people will try to take my freedoms away to create a political correct world that they dream of.

For the most part I am pretty thorough. Local is a must because they are spending my property tax dollars. State for the same reason. Federal because they are spending my income tax and also my life may depend on it.

I am ashamed to say that I do not. This year I am going to vote for anyone who is not running for re-election.
