this has been an old problem but has changed considerably. but still lots more is desired. there are many reasons for that.
men think that women have travelling constraints, which may be true if travelling to remote areas where proper facilities arent there also safety becomes a major concern.
women have a lot of responsibilities besides work. there are home constraints, if there are children & one takes ill, she may have to sacrifice work in that case unless has a good support system at home.
men have a major "ego" problem where working women are concerned. they always feel that their work load is less in comparison even if thats not an issue.
but inspite of all these women today are progressing well. as time goes by am sure things will improve much more. the next generation will see the rise of women for certain!!!

Because men are still considered the 'providers' of the families; therefore, the man having a job has more priority in society. I do not agree with this but it is the answer to your question.

why? you dont have any locus standi in the first place. what makes you think men should give you priority in anything?

girls are trying to exhibit some thing else, where they require to show something else...
try to observe what boys do..
then do that required.
