You never know the Bushes moved to Texas and look at them. Once upon a time Texas was a democratic state of course it was a more conservative democratic party then, who knows maybe you can get them back on track.

We have Democrats in Texas, then there are a whole lot of less than well off Republicans who regret voting for George. They say he has misled the far right of his own party! Go figure.

There was just a rally for democrats in the Dallas area and 300 people showed up in this horrible heat.
I am not a democrat, but think you can safely plan on meeting some. When you get settled, try meet up.com and look for democrat...there are lots of groups.
Take heart brave sole. Now, can you handle tequila and Tex-mex?

There may be a glimmer of hope, because the Texas legislature, in emergency session yesterday, changed the state motto to, "George Who?"

Let us have your name, so when you run for office, I can remember your surly attitude about Texas, and NOT vote for you. Try your luck in New Mexico.
Texas doesn't need negative pessimists in office.
Me? I'm votin' for Kinky for governor!

Hey, there's worse. I live in Kansas. Democrats in this state are as about as popular as a dose of the crabs.
