The innocent victims of Internet child abuse cannot speak for themselves.

But you can.

With your help, we can eradicate this evil trade.

We do not need your money.

We need you to light a candle of support http://www.lightamillioncandles.com

We're aiming to light at least One Million Candles by December 31, 2006.

This petition will be used to encourage governments, politicians, financial institutions, payment organisations, Internet service providers, technology companies and law enforcement agencies to eradicate the commercial viability of online child abuse.

They have the power to work together. You have the power to get them to take action.

Together, we can destroy the commercial viability of Internet child abuse sites that are destroying the lives of innocent children.

Kindly forward this email to your friends, relatives and work colleagues so that they can light a candle too.

Sure, fun people is a big thing ... but sometimes it's worth putting up even with flaming.

What makes a good forum? Answers that are "right"? Answers that are sorta fun?

How about answers that turn into conversations ... or, a little more serious, discussions.

I have my own idea ... I'm wondering what y'all think. (I don't want to get it wrong! *grin*)

We're already paying for income tax, why should we pay sales tax? It might make sense to distribute some of the money that we make to the government to help the country, but why do we also have to pay for something such as sales tax when we spend? The sellers should be the ones who pay for it since they are the ones who're generating income. Please feel free to express your opinion on this subject.

saying it could hurt minorities, the poor, and the elderly who might have trouble producing a photo identification.
Republicans sponsors of the voter identification bill said it was a common sense way to stop voter fraud at the polls. People need photo IDs to board planes, buy alcohol, cigarettes, get perscriptions, or cash checks and the government will give it to them for free through many State and Federal agencies. ""This is not a new concept and Americans want safe borders and safe ballots."

What do you think?

Action on the fence comes four months after the Senate approved legislation that, along with tightening border security, created a guest worker program and outlined how people in the country illegally could work toward legal status and eventual citizenship.
President Bush, in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, said he would sign a fencebuilding bill as part of efforts to strengthen the border. "I don't view this as the final product. And I will keep urging people to have a comprehensive reform."

‘God Save the Queen/King’ is an Anachronism. It is a throw-back to an age of empires and a religious populous. I am happy (though not jingoistic) about being British, and English, and I feel embarrassed that the music that is used to represent my country is this song.
When so many people no longer have a strong religious faith, and so many people do not support the monarchy, how can this song/hymn represent us?
I want it replaced by something that tells us a bit about what Britain! Sure there are lots of things we have done (and not done) that we can’t be proud of but there are lots of things we can be proud of – just like any country!
I can’t say what the national anthem should be, but we can decide that later. First let us agree we need to find one that better suits our country in the new millennium.

I have set up an online petition: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/New_UK_Anthem/

Who wants to help me promote it? Send the link on!!

I missed the days when I could put my President up against ANY foreign leader and did not need to worry that he would embaress himself or the country.

What ever your beef was with Clinton during his administration, you must have praise for the man for his work after he's left office. View the video and remember what a real President can be.

Question: Do you approve of Clinton's work after he left office?
