Good Question ! Because He sure as He[LL] won't Answer Mine ! Here it is; All Gasoline Powered Vehicles in the USA from 1996 to the Present are Required by Law to Run at 14.7 Parts of Air to 1 Part of Fuel. No Exceptions.That's the EPA-OBD II Law.Really! Under this Insane Law, it is actually possible to Fail a Vehicle Emissions Inspection for not Emitting enough Polluting Exhaust Emissions ! 1996,.... Now, what Administration was in Power when this "Brilliant" bit of Legislation was Enacted ? I Guess that would be "An Inconvenient Truth"? I Tried to find the Answer at http://www.climatecrisis.net No Reply ! Why, Al, Why [NOT!]? My Point is this. See My Avatar ? It's a Photo of an On-Board Under Hood Device I've Constructed that Safely Converts Regular Pump Gasoline into a Clear Dry Vapor that is for all Intents and Purposes Propane. 100 Parts of Air to 1 Part of Fuel. With Low Pressure Air going in, and the Outlet Hose that would Normally Feed the Engine Disconnected, I have Lit it on Fire to Prove it Works ! Look at the Color Pattern of the Flame, and Compare it to a Butane Lighter.Same Colors. This is Proof Positive that Gasoline, Butane, Propane, and Natural Gas are all One in the Same, on a Molecular Level. Only the Dispersal is Altered.The Point is, with a Gasoline to Vapor Fuel System, even the Largest SUV could get 50 + MPG, and Emit 10 Times less Pollution. But, under the OBD II Law, it's illegal to even attempt to do so on any Vehicle in the USA from 1996 to the Present ! Why, Al, Why ? I'm not the First to Figure this out. Far from it ! Go to http://www.fuelvapors.com and find out what happened to [the Late] Tom Ogle. He was Offered $25 Million to Keep His Vapor Fuel System Off the Market. This was many Years before the OBD II Law. He Refused, and Died of "A Mysterious Death" which Remains Unsolved to this Day ! He pretty much got ridiculed and made fun of. People will some day come to regrett this generation's refusal to meaningfully address the dangers of global warming. Maybe when New Yorkers are having to tread water the rest of the world will try to do something. Ofcourse by then it will be too late.
