Simply what I am asking is do Americans have the right to bring corrupt actions of USA government to Court? Or in the 2000's do people believe the government can ignore laws, with immunity of the Saddam's of the USA?

Or in other words Are we less free if government is granting immunity to misapply laws?

My employer makes accomodations for daytime employees when they are on jury duty (i.e., hiring a temp to replace them, excusing them from coming to the office, etc.), however, I am being asked to come to the office after serving on a jury all day. Is this legal?

Also China, Australia. Is it because of the distancing from terrorist activities that has encouraged this or is the communal harmony it shares as a secular decmocracy, or is it something else like harbouring a religion that does not favour violence, or may be the great ghost of GHANDHISM. On the whole whom do we thank for such favoured status.

I forgot to include another question I have on the jury service topic I began yesterday, so here it goes:

If I'm not a registered voter and do not have a license, because I don't drive, am I still qualified for jury service. If yes, o.k. If, no then why did I receive a summons to appear at court next week?

I have always said I would regardless of the outcome.Remember the lady in the Scott Peterson jury, the press called "Strawberry Shortcake"?(She looked like the cartoon character).I always thought she would write a book.I think she should have. Not to profit from Laci's death , but to give an acount of what was going on in that jury room.

My sister is 21 and she stutters a lot. She has a severe sttutering problem and I don't believe she will be able to be part of a jury. I just imagine the hard time she will have in there if she where to go.

The similiarities between Rome and America is the political corruption of the leaders and the complanency of the citizens. As the politicians allowed the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer, the country became vunerable to outside attacks. Sounds familiar? What do you think?

Campaign work?
I can only imagine that once the candidates come out and announce they will need a vast network of individuals working for them in any large number of states. Living in New York City, I would really like to have a paying job that allows me to work on a national-candidate's campaign (a democrat or third party candidate). How do I go about doing this?

i think we should join together and gather the homeless christmas trees. it's a shame that people will put out the trees in the gutter, sides of the road... stripped of their dignitity. they should be put through the shredder or chopped up and burned, not letting thier needles grow old and fall off! its time to rise and mulch!!!
