1. Nachos. Not enough guacamole is used these days.
2. Twinkies. They just keep shrinking.
3. "Researchers" who trawl for data online, rather than actually RESEARCH, and discard the data that they don't think fits their pretty little picture.

World Poverty
- the hungry and the homeless in all societies need help. How a society treats its own and views the poor of the world reflects on how much they value human life. I am appalled when I see the poverty in my rich country (Canada). I believe the world has the ability to feed the world but cannot do it because of selfishness, and poor distribution networks.
Global Environmental Issues
- Stephen Hawkins predicts one more century on this planet. Then what? We clean up what we can and slow down and eventurally stop the pollutants that are contaminating our soil, water and air. A new world order is needed to take this one on.
Strengthening the Nation-State While Limiting the Power of Multi-National Corps
- we must lessen our reliance on international trade and create smaller robust regional and local economies. Much of the world needs food and products that can be grown and made regionally. Micro financing is one of the most cost efficient and generous ways of achieving this. Lending a man or woman in Uganda $200 to begin a small business or buy animals for a farm is better, in my books, than sending the government a billion dollars which can not be tracked through the many layers of government and businesses.
I know you want only 3 but here is a fourth one -
Education
- the world needs to be able to read and write in the language which they use every day. A literate population is less likely to be poor, be diseased and is more likely to treat each other with respect.

1. Global warming because it's already here and irreversible.
2. The global privatization of the remaining drinkable water sources. In the future your water access/bill will come from companies like Nestle Inc. and will be 100% more expensive and go through less testing and restrictions from the FDA rather than the EPA.
3. The steeply rising percentage of children being born with Autism. There are so many different opinions on the causes and more studies need to be done now to find the genetic susceptibility.

Genocide - we cannot stand by and watch a race of people become extinct from this planet.
Hunger & Illness - it is unacceptable that food is thrown out and wasted in one country, while another cannot find fresh water to drink - much less food. It is despicable that one continent is dying from a disease when another continent has the medicine to stop the death.
Nuclear Weapons - what could be more important that disarming countries and individuals who have the ability to destroy the planet as we know it.
It is time that we regard the Planet as a Global Village. We need to stop looking at it as independent countries and realize that we are one species - all sharing the same planet. The petty problems of politics are just that...and men, in their arrogance, have screwed up our priorities. Fighting over land, religion, oil. The existence of a species - man - is at risk. And all the while, we worry about what car we drive and what designer we wear.

First is over population. This planet is not able to continue to support the number of humans already here. there are more every day and if it does not stop poverty and hunger will increase dramatically.
The continuing need for growth of the economy. Soon there will be no place left to create this massive growth that has been fueling the money supply for a long time. the resources are running out to fuel this growth.
Environment has to be taken care of if we want to continue to live.

We need to enforce the laws already on the books, including those concerning illegal immigration and the hiring, harboring and helping of those illegal aliens.
We need to demand accountability from our elected and appointed officials and ensure that they read, understand, research and are able to communicate every single law they propose to pass and/or vote upon.
We, the people, need to take responsibility for our own lives and limit any government's interference and access to our personal lives. Less government interference means more accountable and responsible citizenry.
