Federal offices will be closed that day. Most likely the courthouse will be open. Do you have phone number to call? In the county where I live, jurors are given a phone number to call. Those who are to report to duty are notified over this 'message.'
Unless otherwise notified, show up for court. You can always go home. It's better than having a deputy show up at your home and escort you to court.
Also- check the website for the court. There may be a message there as well.

You should call and check because President Bush just named 1/2/07 as a national day of mourning for former pres Ford. All federal offices will be closed.

I would assume that all courts should be in session on that date. You may want to contact someone at the court on Friday before they split for the weekend. You should show up for jury duty. We need good people to help the justice system function to some degree.

Call the courthouse tomorrow (Friday) and ask them. I work for a county office and so far we are not close, but county and federal are two different things.

typically, you are given a phone number to confirm your date/time the day before you're scheduled. More than likely, you'll hear a recording that's it's been postponed. But you should check with the courts tomorrow.. since it's the Friday before the New Years weekend.

They might be. I don't know for sure though. You might want to check with them & find out. They might not be because of the fact that that is the morning day of Pres. Ford.
Hope this helps.

call the court house as soon as you can , they will be able to tell you if they will be open on Tuesday or not. I would guess that they will be open.

Why would you ask a bunch of strangers who don't care about you instead of calling the court?
