This was an answer I received about the roadside checkpoint question......

"Checkpoints are valid exercise of the police power of the government to ensure safety".

Is this the way you really feel? That's a scary answer to me. Police power of government?

My sister met her boyfriend in 1995 and in 1996 they were married.
He was a cop and he bought her a $4000 engagement ring.
I heard later that he received the money doing something corrupt.
ie tipping off someone.
Then when they got married, she seemed to have lots of nice jewellery and clothes and was always getting her hair done.
Once she even boasted - "look at this 9carat gold ring my hubby has bought me".
After his charges this year(about 12) i think, one of them was receiving stolen jewellery.
Would my sister have known or would she just realise this is how much her husband earnt?
I remember they were always going to posh motels and staying their weekends.
Once I asked her, "Wow, how can you afford this" and she
said, "my husband works hard".
He has since been charged, but do you think she would have known
about his corruption 10 years ago?

My father was serving in the Army. He was stationed in Pearl Harbor at the Schofield Barracks. I would like to honor him with this posting. Below is the link to a story published in the Naples Daily News in his honor.

We know Mansons is 108, Hitlers is estimated at 140, George W bush is low 100's so i'm curious as to what Osama bin ladens IQ is or atleast his estimated IQ. It would certainly be much higher than that of Bush, who is even lower than Manson.

I'm referring to the latest case whereby a lady was sentenced to 200 lashes and 6 months imprisonment. Can someone please tell me if she has managed to have the sentence made lighter or done away with.? I am very concerned about this young lady as i think she might die due to the severity of the lashes.

I'm not saying yes or no, I'm only asking because as we all know men and women are completely different from one another. So I'd just like to know if any, what things would make her a good or bad president? This is not a sexiest question either, so if you're going to talk talk nonsense please don't respond?

Accountability (includes: Fiscal responsibility, transparency, openness, truth, responsibility for one's own actions, etc...)

Universal Healthcare (frightening concept for them)

Domestic priorities (education, children's healthcare, jobs (and I'm talking about REAL jobs here people; not the ones that are bare minimum-wage and can't keep up with the high cost of living), sound energy policies, our environment, global warming, and natural disaster preparedness. (Katrina ring a bell?) )

Providing for the elderly, the disabled, the poor. (Yeah, I know: The last one's gotta be a real b*tch to deal with, huh?)

Dealing with reality ("Iraq's a threat to our national security!" and... : "If you're interested in preventing World War 3...?")

Following federal and international laws (Yes, we know: The CIA and all the spy agencies are excluded from this requirement; as are our intelligence apparats.)

Following the Constitution

Smaller government

Balanced budgets

White people ? Black people People who are Muslims but just not "radical" enough
And how are they doing this ?
Hello please attack your own nation thanks ? Or hello please fly over that ocean and attack those people ?
It the recuits come from over the Ocean - why not just say - sorry we are closed no more imigrants for a while ?
If they are coming from our own lands then again
What could be the selling point of attacking your own people and nation etc ?
I have never really liked most of what my government does nor it's decisions - and have often thought we should get a monkey to do the job and a hamster in a wheel as an assistant and we would all be better off -
But there is no argument or emotional apeal that is going to get me to attack them - Write nasty letter yes but thats it
So either I am some sort of exception and there are home grown would be terrorists
Or we are letting them in,why would we do that ?
The monkey/hamster team wouldn't have done that

Latest poll shows him 3rd behind Huckabee and Romney. And I know the Ron Paul haters will say I'm nuts, But I still think Paul's going to surprise. Not win; But surprise. Do you think an embarassing fourth place finish in Iowa could/would sink Rudy's campaign?

I've been following the story of the guy who threw a snowball at a fellow workmate and is being charged with assault. Now I find out that he is also being charged with sexual harassment for brushing his hand on her behind.

I've had my behind brushed and never thought of it as sexual harrassment.

What is the world coming to?

If I am going to fight someone somewhere - I need a goal and end of the game - I want that or I am not going to go anywhere or do anything

So there is a group or groups more likely of terrorists

Do they want to take over America is that the goal ? Seems bit of a lost cause but could that be it ?

Are they trying to get money ?
Seems a really bad way to go about such a venture - and if one needed a job would you be tempted to look for one with a better retirement plan that terrorist ? I don't know about you but I want to live long enough to cash my cheque

Do they want the US out of such and such a land ? There is historical precedent to that - The IRA comes to mind - End goal for them was to get the UK out of Northern Ireland

If so where is the land what where who and so on ?Don't say Iraq - 9/11 predates the landing in Iraq

What is the plan the goal or what have you of these people

Crazy people can not carry off sohisticated plans without a lot of help

Ok, so ive worked at subway for about 5 and a half months now, and we just got a new mananger about 3 weeks ago. There are like 7 other people who work there, but only about 3 people work at one time(in a day). At the end of the 2nd week that we had our new mananger, $30 dollors went missing. So everyone working that day had to pay $10. We only have one register, and before we ring someone up, we have to put our own number into the computer, so that we all know who was on the register. We have 3 cameras above the register, and 4 around the store in other places. But what i dont get is why we have cameras if they cant look back to see who took the money??? We just automatically had to pay?? Im 17, making $6.60 an hour, so thats an hour and a half of my time, just given to thm because someone else stole some money,... i cant see that being fare. $10 might not seem like much, but is that not crappy that they have 3 cameras but wont even look to see who really took it?What should i do

Please no stupid answers.

I am writing a blog regarding a million bad experiences I've gone through with a cat breeder. I have left out the breeder's business name to protect myself but I think that people should be aware that this is a bad breeder. If I were to mention the business name in my blog, would this be slander/defamation/libel? Here is my blog in case this helps:

PLEASE ONLY ANSWER IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SOMETHING LIKE THIS OR YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS.
