no. IOWA matters very little. If it mattered, he would be there. The guy might not be our favorite choice, but he isn't stupid and either is the person running his campaign. You all are applying your personal feelings to the question and that isn't what the person asked. He has known for MONTHS that he wouldn't finish well in IOWA. Does he look worried about it? HUCKABEE is on a roll and dropping Rudy's #'s, but RUDY doesn't need a good finish in Iowa and could care less. But the dirt is getting out on HUCKABEE now so we will see how he fairs. You always get knocked when you are at the top or on your way there.

Great question!
Did you hear about the straw poll in San Francisco that was cancelled because too many Ron Paul supporters showed up?
Yeah, Rudy shot himself in the foot by skipping Iowa. Losing press is like losing votes. He let Huckabee and Romney bask in the limelight of the Iowa polls and the resulting press coverage to his own hurt.
Now Mr. gun control (same ploy Hitler used) has got some serious catch-up to do.
I'm with you on Ron Paul. The press is either ignoring him or painting tin foil hats on him and his supporters for the consumption of the masses.
Either the masses truly have been dumbed down by the lamestream media, or Iowa will be a big shock for the PC crowd.

At this point, he probably doesn't care if he gets the presidency or not. He's made millions exploiting 9/11 & will continue to do so as well as the presidential run by writing books & making speeches after the election. A lot more money than he can make being president with much less headaches. Publicity=money...that's all Rudy cares about.

Giuliani may well be the MOST over rated candidate going into a primary in the entire history of the USA. It's NOW obvious that it's Romney, Paul & Huckabee. My personal take is that the Christians are gonna burn Romney at the ballot. It's coming down to a slug fest for the republican top contender & it's gonna be between Huckabee & Paul.

Rudy's character is being revealed one layer at a time. Iowians don't much care for people like Rudy who have colorful connections - if you know what I mean.
P.S. Rudy doesn't really care about Iowa anyway - he just couldn't relate.

Rudy made a fatal error of running in the first place.
Him and Romney are the most 'plastic' of all the candidates.

I think so. What makes Iowa important in the nominating process is that they are the first caucus, and where the front-runners separate themselves from the rest of the pack.
Giuliani has guaranteed himself a low finish in Iowa, which will make his campaign an afterthought until he finally withdraws.
