I was issued a NY state speeding ticket for doing 81 in a 65. My plea is not guilty, my court date is on Wednesday and I really would like to get out of this.
I am a college student and this is my first violation.
Please only serious answers, I know speeding is bad and I’ve learned my lesson.

I want to put classical music on my website. I know that classical music that was written 200 years ago is in public domain now. But what about the recording ? Does the date of the recording make any difference for the copyright to be enforcable ? If yes, what is be the cut-off date ? I read somewhere that is 1972, is that true ?

I came in contact with this woman through a penpal program.
Her sentence is 20 years. Elsa was "convicted" of conspiring with a friend to kill her [Elsa's] husband, during an unfriendly divorce and custody battle. Both Elsa and the friend deny the existence of any such conspiracy, despite the fact that the friend was three times offered a reduced sentence if she would testify against Elsa. The verdict in Elsa's first trial was thrown out because of the use of testimony from a former lawyer of Elsa's, despite the fact that his testimony should have been covered by attorney-client privilege. She was retried and is now in prison. The worst problem of all is that Elsa's children are now in custody of their father, and I have in hand an abundance of written material from professionals in the field of child abuse, said materials making it clear that the man had, indeed, abused the children--apparently both sexually and by use of violence. Can anybody give me any ideas of sources for help?

If the companies are paying meager salaries to the illegal immigrant workers, is it mainly because:

[A] The companies are greedy and want to maximize profit, even at the cost of disgracing their own people

[B] The companies are forced to pay low salaries because of the severe lack of funding to run their business

[C] Same as option B, but the lack of funding is because the funds have been directed towards the Iraq war.

Will all of the illegal activity while Bill Clinton was President overshadow the few good things he did? Will the fact that the felons he pardoned donated to Hillary be another strike against her?

I am not referring to quality control regulations of the law. If the seperation was to ensure the end of fascism, Fascists use goverment for profit by "encouraging" legislating of new policies and taxes that would ensure a ready made ever lasting source of income whislts the politicians p.r. the program to keep us fooled. Would not outlawing such practise be a good thing ?

what does the end of the song "music is my hot hot sex" by css mean:

Claro-que-sim
Fui escoteira-mirim
Direto da escola, não
Não ia cheirar cola
Nem basquete, pebolim
O que eu gosto não é de graça
O que gosto não é farsa
Tem guitarra, bateria, computador saindo som
Alguns dizem que mais alto que um furacão (rhéum)
Perto dele eu podia sentir
Saía de seu olho e chegava em mim
Sentada do seu lado
Eu queria encostar
Faria o tigela até o sol raiar
Debaixo do lençol
Ele gemia em ré bemol
Fiquei tensa
Mas tava tudo bem
Ele é fodão, mas eu sei que eu sou também

I'm confused that people who support the Tories and UKIP-- I mean, specifically businesspeople-- who might be expected to support the EU (since it's a free trade institution) are instead often opposed to it. Are they acting against their own interests?

A Soldier's Life

It was a long and bloody war,
but I knew what we were striving for.
Ready to pay the cost, I put on my gear,
and down to the Flanders Fields, I walked in fear.
Leaving my family behind caused me tremendous pain,
and not being with them made me nearly go insane.
The sound of gun shots ringing in my ears,
day and night, that's all I hear.
But I knew I had to continue the fight,
so, I gave it all my strength and might.
Weak and exhausted, I could barely cope,
but standing for my country gave me great hope.
Down in the trenches we stealthily hid,
fearing for our lives, as we always did.
Dealing with diseases that made our bodies rot,
the agony of war will never be forgot.
Watching my fellow comrades, as the days went by,
so many wounded, so many died.
The war was nearly over, the time becoming near,
to see the ones I loved and those who were so dear.
My heart was filled with sadness for the lives that were lost,
knowing they loved their country and truly paid the cost.
But I was a soldier ready to move ahead,
willing to face the future no matter where it lead.
