...yet gas prices continue to lag behind and oil companies are making less profits than before. This is due to lower seasonal demand for gas-which is normal and expected. This proves the high gas prices after Katrina was due to high seasonal demand and higher demands from displaced New Orleaneans. But when it get to summer '08 (assuming oil prices are the same or higher), certainly the libs and economically uninformed will claim "gas gouging"!!! Why no uproar now? When will people realize that simple supply demand and free market forces create the price you pay at the pump?

Synopsis: After complaining of loud music the upstair neighbor maintains overt and consistent hostility toward downstair tenant. The tenant claims the loud music occurred but has stopped, but hostility persists verbally and by noise-making throughout the night. Neighbor has called police several times for alleged noise; tenant has never been cited. No other neighbors experience loud music. Landlord has cruised by at various days/times to experience such noise; none found. Neighbor as filed complaint with HOA regarding noise and sent letters to landlord alleging other misconduct, none of which can be corraborated. Neighbor even filed a restraining order against tenant alleging loud music and physical threat. Tenant (and landlord) is feeling harassed by neighbor's persistant allegations without proof. Landlord is at risk of losing tenant due to neighbor's conduct. Is there a small claims action that can be taken to restrain such behaviour?

Two Navy sailors, one from Georgia, were shot to death in Bahrain, military officials announced Oct. 23.

Seaman Anamarie Sannicolas Camacho, 20, of Panama City, Fla., and Seaman Genesia Mattril Gresham, 19, of Lithonia, Ga., died Oct. 22, according to a statement from the Defense Department.

A U.S. Navy sailor shot and killed the two sailors early Oct. 22 in the barracks an American military base in Bahrain, officials said.

The alleged shooter, a man, was critically wounded in the shooting at the Naval Support Activity Bahrain base, said a Navy official who was not authorized to release the information to the media and spoke on condition of anonymity.

The wounded sailor apparently shot himself, the Navy said.

Both women held the master-at-arms rating and were assigned to Naval Support Activity Bahrain.

For example say the US arrested the Iranian President while he was visiting the UN and the US says they won't release him until Iran pays back money for attacks on US solider's . This is just an example anyway what would happen ? I ask because I have had this discussion before and was told the UN would send a capture team to take the President back to his country . Although that's questionable to me .

I am 15 and I go to a mostly muslim high school. My question is about why do the immigrant children from the or the children of immigrants from war torn country bring the chaos and the conflict into the school system? Among my peers, I see few immigrants in my school that actually seem to want to learn and to earn the gift of peace that was given to them as refugees. Most of the immigrants (mainly somalian in my school) simply want to do nothing except live in McDonalds for their entire life. I know that there are many citizens who do this too but there seems to be a higher percentage of them that want to learn. Do I see this because most of my peers are from the middle-east and why do the unions protest any attemps to integrate new refuges into our community (e. g. like giving all new refugees a good stable job that requires little education)? I don't mean to offend anyone and I try not to generalize. I know there are many immigrants and refugees that work hard. Sorry for any1 ofended

Only the government can tape others talking? Why? If I have a plot of land, I cannot put a big sign and advertise a business. It has to be a company like Lamar or some other crooked company. You can throw out a murder conviction on a technicality. It seems convicted prisoners have so many rights in prison. What we have here is a bunch of retarded perple making laws.

Kinda scary we rely in majority on the us citizens who live in the suburbs and outside major cities who voted for Bush to decide the world's fate. They should give extra points for cities like New York and such where people have some educational understanding and cultural mixtures to understand what they vote for..so people like Gore can be president for a change..
