Kinda scary we rely in majority on the us citizens who live in the suburbs and outside major cities who voted for Bush to decide the world's fate. They should give extra points for cities like New York and such where people have some educational understanding and cultural mixtures to understand what they vote for..so people like Gore can be president for a change..

America should give up its ambitions to police the world.
If we stopped having america think of itself as leader of the free world or of the international community then outsiders dont need to sulk about not electing the leader

I just love your question. Still laughing as I'm writing. Very funny idea.

But I don't think we should let the rest of the world elect our president. WE should elect a president that is not going to affect the rest of the world so much. And I hate to disappoint you but Gore is just the other side of the same coin. As someone else said recently the difference between the two is about the same as in plain vanilla/french vanilla.

And please don't forget that we elect people that we believe are going to keep our way of life on the same road of world destruction. Maybe if we changed the way we live, maybe we could understand about some of the worthwhile people to elect.

In the meantime, if you want to convince me to give you extra leverage in the presidential election because you live in the educated big city, maybe you could first try to perfect your English.

By the way, I'm not a friend of Bush.

Thanks for the laugh though.

I guess you just don't get out much do you? Believe it or not, we pretty much all have running water and inside toilets now. Heck, we even have the internet.

When you get older you may understand the world more. Our influence is not as broad as you think and it is narrowing daily. China has the most robust economy in the world and are poised to become the #1 world power if we don't put all this partisan BS behind us. Our children aren't given the chance to be their best and brightest because liberals insist that the ones who have the highest intellegence are held down to the level of the lower level children so as not to offend.

The results are already being realized. We are no longer #1 in any category.

so someone like the driver of the make-believe crisis bandwagon can be president? and just to do something different, so an inept propagandist can be the leader of the free world? i guess if you don't want to be free anymore...

typical liberal ignorance and arrogance- everyone else is an unenlightened hayseed hick who doesn't know what's best for them. i'm not so arrogant or foolish as to call all New Yorkers or big-city dwellers elitist snobs, but YOU certainly are- for believing that such places are the only ones where multiculturalism thrives. the inability of your party to come through when it matters shows the flaws in your party's candidates and in their policies and beliefs.

The President is expected to work for Americans not the world! No one else needs or deserves any input.

Hes going to be our president, not theirs. Unless the world is ready to submit to rule by the US.
