Amongst people who actually want it?

Keep in mind there is no oil or anything else the US would want to extract from Myanmar.

I live in a gossipy neighborhood with nothing but big-mouthed old ladies (I'm an old lady, but I'm not gossipy). I thought just to mess with their heads, I would buy a bunch of police tape - POLICE LINE - DO NOT CROSS - that yellow tape, and wrap it all over around my front yard and driveway. They'd be calling me like crazy, and I could just torment them and say "Sorry, can't talk about it." But, can I get in trouble from the police for doing this?

My husband & I rented an apartment January 1st-July 1st. We moved out and the landlord said if there were any damages then they would be taking out of our deposit witch we agreed, but after we moved out for some reason my dad recived a bill for 423 from the landlord (me and my dad have the same name) my dad brought it to my attention there was no number on there so I had to get it off whitepages so I called him he wouldn't tell me what the charges are for but said he was taking me to court and he is going to make me pay the legal fees as well so my dad told me to send him the money so I did certifed check in the mail, but he has never went to the post office to pick it up, if he trys to sue me can he make me pay for legal fees if I already sent him the money and he never called me NOT ONCE?????

I hope this stirs some good answers.

The question explained. I think government employees should be liable for their actions, whether by instruction or personal choice, when a reasonable person would see this activity as an unreasonable or questionable action.

Ex. An IRS employee hands down a fine. You want to appeal and they say there is no appealate process.

Ex. A DEA agent raids a house, on the orders of their superior, without knowing they do not have a search warrant. Had the agent asked to view the search warrant, they would have known it did not exist.

Ex. Military Service Acquisitions. A bean counter knowingly approves the purchase of a $400.00 toilet seat.

Ex. A Judge sentences a person to prison, on circumstantial evidence, and it is discovered later that this person was not the perpetrator. Had the judge not excluded evidence, the person would have been found not guilty immediately.

As with all things, Bill Clinton was a great leader for his time. However, that time has passed and it is time for the DNC to move on. Hillary is just more of the past seven years. Agree or disagree?

Five year plus after the "Dancing in the Streets by Iraqi's" that has never happened, and Bush is doing nothing but buying time with American tax payer Money and lost health and life of United States Soldiers, Marines, Naval and Air Force personal. Also, at least five times as many innocent Iraqi lives are lost as America lives are lost. Why?
We know it is not WMD's, Democracy as we recognize it, Building a reliable allie, Making friends in the Middle East, Doing the bidding of Jesus to love thy Enemy or building a stronger American Military or a more hopeful future for anyone.
So why are the Republicans continuing this Five Act Play based roughly on the Vietnam War? Do we really want another War to go on one, three or five more years that is already doomed to failure? Why?

I mean why do they always have to give each side a chance? I also can't stand how little bitterness their arguments contain. They need to pick a side and not give an inch to any other ideas. Am I right or am I right?

Well, America has picked on a country(Iraq) who didnt have weapons of mass destruction or at least they didnt find any. America went into that country, over threw the Dictator, had him killed, they sent the country into chaos, which is still going on today. And here sits Iran who has weapons of mass destruction(nuclear weapons) and has admitted to having them and still be making them. Also, here sits Iran who clearly funds Terrorism. The same Terrorism that caused 9/11. Iran is doing the same things we accused Iraq of doing, yet nobody is doing anything about it. No invasions no nothing. It would be a fair fight if America went to war with Iran, and nobody used nuclear weapons. ( We all know thats not going to happen).
